There are many industrial firms in our country and much of their employer also. But they are
hardly struggling to alive in competitive market with their unskilled employer. At the time of
present global competitive market these firms are feeling to have train and develop up of their
employers. But at the most cases these firms have no enough capacity, capability, sound
space, required training equipment and experienced trainers. So that in this circumstance we
have come to help these firms by giving appropriate training to their employers according to
the need of the specific firm’s operation.

On the other hand Bangladesh is a country of much population. It has a lot of men but it is not
power of Bangladesh because the employment opportunity is not available here and they are
not efficient also with technical knowledge. A big part of GDP is come from foreign countries
sent by Bangladeshi worker. If they are been efficient from ‘TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
INSTITUTION’ they can create a lot of employment opportunity in foreign country and
contribute in GDP.

This ‘Training and Development’ institution is a Click and Brick partnership business will
produce service for that firms mentioned above. It is a new business will be incremented
according to the need of various types of the client firms and their segmentations.

2.2 Service

Basically it is a services producer institution; it may try to give its best to make one as a well-
trained employer of a firm keeping adjustment with their operations. Specifically our service
will help a firm to make their personnel skillful with its operational activities. We have a sound
space according to necessity, modern technological equipments and well-experienced trainer
retired from same as those relative firms; we will works for the firm in a contractual system to
prepare their employer as they want.

2.3 The Market

Although our country is poor but has also a few of Industries and the majority number of the
Garments factory; so firstly our target is this sector that means we works as a representative
of garments factory in a contractual system to train and develop up their manpower as the
requirements of personnel department. And at next will try to increase our scope and target
the different firms and different training operation as their need.

We develop also the manpower of our country according to modern and global technological
demand as they can get employment opportunity in foreign country easily.

2.4 Competition

Every firm has needed to train and develop their manpower they are trying also but they are
not succeeding as their need and expectation due to their limitations that we want to fill up. At
present time we have no competent in market we have targeted, so we are the first. But there
are some institutions in Dhaka trained people whom wants to get opportunity in foreign
country, but they are not hard competitor for us in spite of all we will be able to take the
market under of us in very soon a . Our service is being expected by garments factory and
we hope we will can fill up their need and be popular even we will take a much advertising
mission.

2.5 Operations

As though our main target is garments factories and maximum of these are available at
Gazipur and Savar so our institution also will be located between these two zones. We must
get offer from these factories to perform for them. And we should have to follow the following
steps…..

 Availability of updated technology
 Well-experienced and retired person from personnel managing department of
Garments factory will be hired.
 A much direct advertisement will be running
 If possible a few factories will be permanent customer as partner.
 To reduce risk and increase opportunity we will try to increase our scope, target new
factories and segmentation, and have to do Insurance for unexpected risk.

2.6 Management Team

The management team of the ‘TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTION’ will be very
small, simple due to make it friendly. But the members of management team will have highest
level of consciousness to run this institution appropriately by measuring risks and
opportunities. The trainer will be hired who recently retired from the related firm (Garments
Factory) and he will be member also of management team to create high level of demand of
our performance. If needed the Client firm will be our partner and also a member of
management team.

Managing Director will manage his subordinate managers like the Financial Manager,
Marketing Manager, Equipment Manager, and the Personnel Manager. All the managers will
take help, decision, and suggestion from the Managing Director. The Financial Manager will
manage the all financial events of the firm. If any event rises to another manager he will be
closed to the Financial Manager. Marketing manager will survey the market and try to develop
the promotion of the firm. The Equipment manager will mange for new and update
technology; he has a direct relationship with the Financial and Personnel Managers.
Personnel Manager will control every activity of subordinates in the firm. Trainers will be
always busy to train up their scholar appropriately. Workers will follow up command of every
department through to the personnel department.

2.7 Risk/Opportunity:

The firm ‘TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTION’ has a potential risk; it should be
mentioned as high risk but as a normal function for any firm. That is if any partner wishes to
retired unfortunately then we the remain partners increase our share of ownership otherwise
we may include a customer firm as a partner. Basically the main owners will be member of
the advisory boards will advise the managing director and this board is the topes level of
management, keep the power of making decision where the managers will can only serve
data.
Here the great opportunity to us that the high demand of our service in market and the
clients firms are waiting for our service. So we have no late to get feedback.

Our monthly total expenses are tk.17, 07,000. We have charged tk.5000 for per scholar. So to
pick up the cost we have to perform at least for 342 scholars; and this is our Break Even
Point. We can earn up to tk.25, 00,000 by using our total 500 seat capacities. Then after total
cost our Net Income is tk.7, 93,000. Our initial investment is tk.3, 70, 00,000 but we have
cash tk.100, 00,000. The Mercantile Bank Issues loan of tk.1, 50, 50,000; and the Apex
Company advanced tk.25, 00,000 to perform service for them.

operating expenses will be at least tk.17, 07,000 that will be covered by performing for at least
342 scholars. Our initial mission will be performing for more than 342 per month.

after the customer satisfaction. We hope it will be possible easily because of our friendly
managing organizational structure. Our short term goal to warm up the relationship with active
customer firm and the long term goal is trying to make relationship with those firm who do not
informed our service.

We work as a representative of garments factory in a contractual system to train and develop


up their manpower as the requirements of personnel department. And at next will try to
increase our scope and target the different firms and different training operation as their need.
So, the Garments Firms will send their new employer to us to train-up them in a contractual
system.

We develop also the manpower of our country according to modern and global technological
demand as they can get employment opportunity in foreign country easily.

The firm has 5,000 X 5,000 square meters enough area. Here we have capacity to installed
500 machineries in a sound space. At next we will be able also to increase our frustructure.

4.4 Background of Entrepreneurs

The entrepreneurs are the student of ‘Asian University of Bangladesh’. They are completing
their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) educational course; this is the first project of
them.

factories to make their employment skilful. If the garments factories take the service to
develop up their employer’s skill they will be able to control their cost, wasting, and earn profit

more rapidly. The garments factory requires a lot of employers; we made the new required
employer accordingly with the environment and working method of the customer firms.

We are at early stage now. We offer to take service and reduce cost. And our service is
available at a chief rate. We rated the servicing cost very low and than our servicing level.
The retired and well experienced trainer is hired from the same of customer firm.

All partners have an equal share of capital. Nashir and Salah Uddin are giving cash tk.50,

7.3 Authority of Principles

The 3 owners are members of the advisory board of the firm will provide decision and
suggestion to managing director to take an action. The Managing Director cannot make any
decision by avoiding this Advisory Board; but the Advisory Board can take decision for the
firm if they seem.

7.4 Roles And Responsibilities Of Managing Team

The management team of the ‘TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTION’ will be very
small, simple due to make it friendly. But the members of management team will have highest

The main duties of each individual members of management:

 Advisory Board: This panel is made with owners of the institution will help to
taking decision the managing directors; and this board is the primary sources of
capital fund.

 Managing Director: Managing director directs and co-ordinates the managers of


other departments; and takes help of advisory board at any new event and
decision.

 Personnel Manager: Personnel manager will control the personnel department


that made with trainer and 4th class workers.

 Equipment Manager: The Equipment manager will manage the equipment and
technological sight efficiently. If any problem with equipment is raised he will
solve that and ensure also new and update technology through to the Marketing
Manager. And the information about training equipment will be provided to trainer
by Equipment Manager.

 Marketing Manager: Marketing manager will control the marketing sight; try to
increasing marketing promotion, and purchasing update technological equipment.
Marketing manager will take financial support from the Financial Manager.

 Financial Manager: Financial Manager manages the financial sight of the


institution and if any financial problem or opportunity will be raised he must inform
the advisory board.

 Trainer: Trainer must be busy to train up employers of client factories efficiently.


If he finds out any technical problem with equipment he will inform Equipment
Manager.

 Worker: Workers follow up the orders of all departments but if they have any
objection will have to inform the Personnel Managers.

retired unfortunately then we the remain partners increase our share of ownership otherwise
we may include a customer firm as a partner. And for the other abnormal risk we have to
insurance for our firm. After all it is clear that normally we have no risk if we will be able to
hold our customer permanently.

The Equipment Manager is always ensuring update technologies. A fund from net Income will
be available here for purchasing modern and update technology.

We the partners are too much confident to continue our business firm ‘TRAINING AND
DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTION’ for a long time. We will convert it to corporation business if
we want to be retired after a long time.
