PERSONALASSESSMENT

I am Chandra Kant parida a trainee of MA (sw) part –I placed in

shantipally.I am very much indebted to the department for providing me
opportunity to work with these people. I am also grateful to the faculty
supervisor Mrs. Banaja Pattnaik for her key vision and guidance on my
learning in the field. In fact my fifty fieldworks are not sufficient to
tackle the huge and deep rooted problems in the slums. On the other
hand the trainee is not a professional social worker, but a mere learning.
The trainee had actively participated in field work. Hard work,
dedication, determination can make everything possible.

CONCLUSION

In course of field work session the trainees learn and enjoy a lot with the
slum dwellers of shantipally. It is in fact a memorable and remarkable
period of life. It is a period of learning and training about how to be a
part of the vulnerable group. The field work period is full of knowledge
and experiences. The trainees can use it for future references. At the
end, the trainees extend her sincere gratitude and obligation to all the
members of NIIS family.
