I would really like to have the opportunity to work with you in the ______ department of
the _____ company. I would feel honored if you chose me to work with you in this
position. Some day, I would like to pursue a career in ______, and I feel that _____ is
the best place to get the best opportunity for me to work towards my goal.

I feel that you can benefit from having me on the team for a number of reasons. A few of

 I attend a leadership, college prep school for girls
 I am in my second year of Project Lead the Way, Engineering Pathway,
and I understand how to use engineering soft ware, such as inventor and
bridge builder. I also understand many aspects of engineering.
 I am in my fourth of art
 I design computer graphics in my free time
 I am very familiar with Photoshop
 I volunteer for organizations I believe in

Sisters

My watercolor painting features myself holding my little

sister’s hand at a park in downtown Austin. I was trying to
portray the love my little sister and I have for each other, even
though we are so far apart from each other in age. Thirteen
years to be exacted. One of the things my little sister and I do
together to bond is reading, which I why I choose to create a
book cover.
I would have to say that my little sister was my inspiration
for this piece of art. I choose the title, “Sister” to describe the
relationship my little sister and I have. I think the word ‘sister’
can mean a number of things, but to me being a big sister
means that always loving her no matter what, and being the
who is there for her when life is tough. Well, I do love my little
sister a lot, even though some days can be difficult. Sisters are
like people who are best friends, but better.
To make my painting I first drew a series of different
variations and collaborated them all together to get my final
decision. Then I shaded the back of my final drawing with soft
garnet. I then placed the drawing on the watercolor painting
paper and outlined my drawing; this transferred a copy of my
drawing on to the watercolor paper. That way I could easily
create the picture I wanted. After painted the drawing I
painted in a background. The last thing I did was paint in my
title, because it was probably the smallest thing on my cover.
I really like the realism in the two people, but not so much
the background. If was to redo this painting I would have not
made the same ground that I had done, I think that it does not
it in my painting. Also I would have 3 made the sky brighter, it
looks too cloudy to me. All and all I worked really hard on it,
and I like how it turned out.
