ช่วยในประโยคอดีตกาลกำลังกระทำ (S + was, were + v.1 ing)

ช่วยในประโยค Passive Voice (S + is, am, are, was, were + V.3) หรื อประโยคที่ประธานถูกกระทำนัน่ เอง

ช่วยในประโยค Past Perfect Tense (S+ had + v.3)
You had spoken all the time. คุณได้ พดู ตลอดเวลา
ช่วยในประโยคที่มีกริยาแสดงความรู้สกึ อยูด่ ้ วย (be + interested………….)
They are interested in English conversation. พวกเขาสนใจในการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษ

การทำประโยคคำถามและปฏิเสธ
ถ้ าในประโยคนัน้ มีกริยาช่วยอยู่ สามารถตังคำถามได้
้ เลย โดยวางกริ ยาช่วยไว้ ข้างหน้ าประโยค และทำเป็ นประโยค
ปฏิเสธ โดยการเติม not ไว้ หลังกริยาช่วย เช่น
บอกเล่า He has lived in Bangkok. เขาอาศัยอยูใ่ นกรุงเทพฯ
คำถาม Has he lived in Bangkok? เขาอาศัยอยูใ่ นกรุงเทพฯ หรื อ
ปฏิเสธ He has not lived in Bangkok. เขาไม่ได้ อาศัยอยูใ่ นกรุงเทพฯ
บอกเล่า You had spoken all the time. คุณได้ พดู ตลอดเวลา
คำถาม Had you spoken all the time? คุณได้ พดู ตลอดเวลาหรื อ
ปฏิเสธ You had not spoken all the time. คุณไม่ได้ พดู ตลอดเวลา

แต่ ถ้ าในประโยคนันไม่้ มีกริยาช่วยอยู่ มีแต่กริยาแท้ (Finite verb/ไฟไนท์ เวิร์บ) เช่น

want ต้ องการ drink ดื่ม do ทำ,
speak พูด practice ฝึ กฝน understand เข้ าใจ
teach สอน watch เฝ้าดู cry ร้ องไห้
sleep นอน swim ว่ายน้ำ take นำไป
bring นำมา help ช่วย make ทำ สร้ าง
eat กิน have มี กิน ได้ รับ สูบ (บุหรี่ )
ให้ ใช้ กริ ยาช่วย do does did มาช่วยในการตัง้ เป็ นประโยคคำถามและประโยคปฏิเสธ โดยมีหลักดังนี ้
ประโยคปั จจุบนั กาล (Present Simple Tense) ประธานเอกพจน์ ให้ ใช้ Does เช่น
บอกเล่ า He comes from England. เขามาจากประเทศอังกฤษ
คำถาม Does he come from England? เขามาจากประเทศอังกฤษหรื อ
ปฏิเสธ He does not come from England. เขาไม่ได้ มาจากประเทศอังกฤษ
บอกเล่า Niramol has a car. นิรมลมีรถ
คำถาม Does Niramol have a car? นิรมลมีรถหรื อ
ปฏิเสธ Niramol does not have a car. นิรมลไม่มีรถ
บอกเล่า Toop eats fried chicken. ไอ้ ตบู กินไก่ทอด

ประโยคอดีตกาล (Past Simple Tense) ไม่วา่ ประธานจะเป็ นเอกพจน์หรื อพหูพจน์ ให้ ใช้ Did เท่านัน้
บอกเล่า You worked late last night. เมื่อคืนที่ผา่ นมาคุณได้ ทำงานดึก
คำถาม Did you work late last night? เมื่อคืนที่ผา่ นมาคุณได้ ทำงานดึกหรื อ
ปฏิเสธ You did not work late last night. เมื่อคืนที่ผา่ นมาคุณไม่ได้ ทำงานดึก
บอกเล่า He/She studied hard. เขาเรี ยนหนัก
คำถาม Did he/she study hard? เขาเรี ยนหนักหรื อ
ปฏิเสธ He/She did not study hard. เขาไม่ได้ เรี ยนหนัก

**ถ้ า Need เป็ นกริยาแท้ จะแปลว่า ต้ องการ และ Dare จะแปลว่า กล้ า, ท้ า เผชิญ เช่น
He needs a rest for a moment. เขาต้ องการการพักผ่อนสักครู่หนึง่
She dares to walk alone after midnight. เขากล้ าเดินคนเดียวหลังเที่ยงคืน
They need to study English again. พวกเขาต้ องการที่จะเรี ยนภาษาอังกฤษอีกครัง้

และให้ ใช้ do does did มาช่วยทำประโยคคำถามและปฏิเสธ เหมือน finite verb ทัว่ ไป เช่น
