Caravan with two specials, Anya sends ranger to question

When adagio asks about the unicorn, Anya invites him to lunch with her and indig
o
Indigo, adagio, sascha, Anya have lunch in castle amber
Adagio is nephew of Isidor, been locked in shadow after being evacuated from old
amber, had dream/vision about unicorn then freed
Sascha is servant of "the lady" weird connection to...something
Anya says she will introduce adagio around, but he would be wise to disavow his
parentage; gives him summary of the " official" history re: new pattern
Indigo and Anya take them to meet everyone; run into Hayden as the are leaving,
running naked in the halls
They find out from Jacob that Bjorne and Ida have separated, and he is close to
finding Ida
Anya arranges for family dinner
Before intro to Tamati, Anya insists on more info about sascha, he takes them to
his shadow via the abyss, and it turns out it is a shadow of the old amber
They meet with Tamati last, he wants to make plans re: the pattern
Anya and indigo are uncertain, they decide to try and gather some support from o
ther elders
Anya finds out right before the dinner that Hayden has decided to "invite" Olive
r and dmitri in order to force a show of support
Anya and adagio kinda have to go, sascha goes, and indigo decides to be late
Oliver and dmitri are brought in in chains; dmitri is missing his teeth, his han
d, and his leg, as well as both his eyes; Oliver seems well physically, but his
mind is gone
Elouise tries to help Oliver, and eventually storms out
Adagio asks Hayden if he may assist dmitri, Hayden assents, but warns that dmitr
i will not appreciate his effort, everyone else braces for the results.
When dmitri is let free, he stabs the giant (sitting next to him) with his spoon
before he is subdued
Anya begs off dinner sick shortly afterwards, and stays the night in Rebma
Indigo says there is a security problem, and begs off as well
Adagio leaves as soon as he can, but sascha stays for a while
They start to seek others for support
Elouise is willing to go along after she confirms what they have to say by study
ing the pattern in Rebma
Next, they go to find ice at Anya's insistence, they think she will be with Ida
Indigo uses trump to appx their location, then Anya shifts into Hayden and uses
Logrus to take them there
When they arrive, there is a bright flash of magic: Anya/Hayden is immediately i
njured, and indigo is bull rushed off the side
While Anya is putting up a trump defense, and shifting back to herself, sascha i
s killed, but returns in a different form a moment later
There is a standoff on the deck. Indigo is thrown up onto the deck, and Bjorne
follows after.
After a "discussion" during which Bjorne berated Anya for coming as Hayden, he a
grees to discuss what they claim with Elouise before making a decision to join t
hem; ice still wants nothing to do with Anya
They arrange the meeting between Elouise and Bjorne
Elouise says she will help, but she insists on putting sandrah in the jewel and
rescuing Oliver, ice says she will join as long as Anya cuts out the family stuf
f until afterwards, Bjorne wants to put the twins in the jewel as well
After some thought, Anya assents
Elouise takes the jewel and is able to put Sandra and the twins inside
They plan to break Oliver and dmitri the day after the next full moon, so Hayden
has to wait to make a new Marshall if Anya is discovered
Anya says that they shouldn't tell her anything, that way her ignorance will pas
s muster with Rupert; indigo and sascha go off to plan and Anya returns to amber
, when she returns she finds out Oliver is set to be executed
Oliver and dmitri are rescued the night before the execution is scheduled, durin
g the course of the attempt, they find out that Rupert and anahera have been plo
tting against Hayden; they kill him during the rescue, and sascha captures wilda

When they return to Arden with Oliver and dmitri, indigo calls for Anya to heal
them, she finds out Oliver is merely in his primal form, and is quickly able to
restore him, when he awakens, he reveals he was in on Rupert and anahera's plot
Dmitri is much harder, indigo obtains his eye and hand so they can be restored w
ith him, and he won't be blind when he awakens
When Anya thinks she won't be able to do a lot without his cooperation, they awa
ken him. Anya tells him what is going on, and he makes a whispered reply, when
Anya leans closer to hear him, he bites her - adagio immediately knocks him out
again with sorcery
They decide to try and get Vasili to help, so indigo trumps him, and returns wit
h a pool of decaying flesh; Anya is able restore him to just a skull before adag
io says they won't be able to keep dmitri out much longer
They awaken dmitri again, and he jumps back like a cornered animal, Anya tries t
o offer to help him and Vasili further, but dmitri insists on having the skull,
and then he backs away
