Ambulance officers happily volunteered 7,000 hours to
our community during 2010. They warmly welcome new
members and would love to see your face in this photo. You
don’t have to be a superhero to be an ambulance officer.
New volunteers are provided with the option of training as a
driver or an officer in primary and advanced care.
Studies show that volunteering has a positive effect on a
person’s well being – that volunteering provides many social
and skill building opportunities for people of all ages.
