in this pilot project

• Goals:
– Increase membership of girls and young
women by 20%
– Increase 3000 adult volunteers
– Increase competencies among volunteers
– Increase commitment towards
volunteerism
– Maintain profile of PPPM as leading NGO
for girls and young women in Malaysia

– Focus on sustaining membership growth,

HOSPITAL SERVICE

• Provider: Ranger Guides, Leaders,

Ward, family members, hospital staff
• Service carried out for a duration,
before or after the official date set by
National Ranger Guides Council
• Activities:
– Be Friends
– Story telling, singing, games, coloring
– Painting mural at ward
– Setting a mini library or play centre
LIDS FOR LIMBS
• 2003 – 2006
• Provider: All members, volunteers,
public
• Recipient: Members of the public
who need artificial limbs
• Collection of ring tabs from soft
drink cans.
• Ring tabs are sent to the
Prosthesis Foundation in Thailand
• Experts use them to produce parts
of artificial limbs
• Clinics held in Penang with
collaboration with other NGOs to
provide service and free limbs to
those in need
PEACE PACKS
• Phase I: 1990s
• Phase II: 2003 – 2004
– 4,851 Peace Packs sent to
children in Iraq
• Phase III: Ongoing
– Local – victims of calamities &
disasters

– Instill patriotism and love towards our
flag among members of the
Association and the community
– Raise awareness towards flag
etiquette
– Establish a Flagkeepers Team to
continuously educate and promote flag
