STATEMENT

COMPANY:    123Posters  was  created  in  1997  to  provided  its  customers  with  an  
abundance  of  posters,  calendars,  and  frames  at  extremely  low  prices  compared  to  
competition.    123Posters  is  proud  of  the  value  that  it  can  provide  with  cheap  quality  
posters  and  cheap  fast  shipping.        123Posters  is  also  a  family  friendly  online  poster  
store  that  does  not  feature  any  poster  with  nudity  or  grotesque  violence.  
 
PROBLEM:    123Posters  has  an  abundance  of  posters  and  does  not  feature  an  
interface  that  easily  allows  their  consumers  to  quickly  find  posters  or  browse  their  
library.    Their  website  is  cluttered  with  links.  
 
OPPORTUNITY:    To  create  a  simple,  and  attractive  interface  to  enable  consumers  to  
better  browse  and  find  posters.  
 
SOLUTION:    We  will  create  a  site  that  utilizes  visual  and  navigational  hierarchy  as  
well  as  creating  a  visual  aesthetic  that  will  not  alienate  a  specific  audience.    We  will  
keep  it  simple  and  modern  versus  comic,  illustrative,  or  film  noir.    Navigational  
hierarchy  will  be  established  through  the  use  of  dropdown  menus,  sidebar  
navigation  (sub  menus),  breadcrumbs,  and  tabs.    Each  genre  or  category  will  feature  
a  unique  and  appropriate  look  using  background  images.
