UNITED STATES ARMY, FIELD ARTILLERY CAPTAIN:
2009-2010 BATTALION INTELLIGENCE OFFICER, S-2 FORT HOOD, TX
- Responsible for the Force Protection and Physical Security plans of a Multiple
Launch Rocket Battalion of over 450 soldiers and 85 vehicles.
- Drawing on knowledge from Anti-Terrorism Level II training, designed and imple
mented a comprehensive Anti-Terrorism plan for the Battalion.
2008-2009 BATTERY EXECUTIVE OFFICER JOINT SECURITY STATION 5, IRAQ
- Responsible for the supply, maintenance, and force protection of over 105 U.S.
Army soldiers, 95 Iraqi Army soldiers, two fuelers, and 35 armored vehicles.
- Worked daily with Battalion and Brigade level intelligence cells to draw
timely signal, geospatial, and human intelligence for our maneuver units.
- Entrusted with the Battery's humanitarian aid mission, developed proposals for
, funded, and oversaw the completion of 12 projects to rebuild local infrastruct
ure.
- Developed and managed a new Battery level intelligence cell, collecting and de
veloping human sources, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and numerous other assets.
- Awarded Bronze Star for service during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
2007-2008 PLATOON LEADER FORT HOOD, TX & AL KUT, IRAQ
- Led a 20 man Platoon equipped with 3 MRAPs and 5 1151 armored vehicles.
- Planned and executed over 150 joint combat patrols in six months without suffe
ring any loss of personnel or equipment.
- Coordinated and led multinational medical relief missions with Lithuanian, El
Salvadoran, Romanian, and Iraqi forces to provide support for local Iraqis.
2006-2007 AMMUNITION PLATOON LEADER & BATTERY EXECUTIVE OFFICER FORT H
OOD, TX
- Led a 26-soldier platoon with 12 HEMTT ammunition vehicles, 12 HEMATT ammuniti
on carries, two HMMWVs, and one 1068 command post vehicle.
- Appointed as the unit's maintenance, supply, and armament room officer -
supervised and managed the daily workings of these three vital areas.
- Created a Battery Operations Center tracking system that was used as an exampl
e by the Battalion Commander and adopted by the three other Batteries in the Bat
talion

command post systems.
