Formulated procedures for the monthly accounting and on-going administration of
a $500 million leveraged lease portfolio. Prepared the final booking entries.
Identified and resolved solid waste billing problems for a municipality's 29,000
customers which generated additional revenue of $1 million.
Prepared and filed 6 months of sales tax returns for 45 states and 35 municipali
ties, in 6 weeks. Eliminated $40,000.00 in penalties and interest. Created a c
omprehensive sales tax filing schedule.
Managed collections and financial reporting for a public agency's 45 state and f
ederal healthcare grants totaling $50 million per year. Resolved and pursued ov
erdue receivables so no monies were uncollected during the 5 years of my tenure.
Reconciled a $30 million portfolio of purchased accounts receivable to the gener
al ledger that been unattended for 8 months.
