Public Safety
Substantial experience planning, executing, and directing domestic and internat
ional investigations of illicit narcotics, money laundering/asset forfeiture, il

CNIC) with Anti Terrorism and Law Enforcement policy as Subject Matter Expert.

Policy Analysis and Intelligence Exploitation
Used classified and police intelligence indices (NCIC, NADDIS, NLETS) to invest
igate and prosecute complex domestic and international illicit drug trafficking
and money laundering organizations. Directed efforts with foreign government co
unterparts and US Dept of State; seized illicit assets from foreign and domestic
bank accounts.
Currently authoring handbook/guide for US Navy, Master at Arms (law enforcement
personnel) for Critical Incident Management, Anti-Terrorism and Active Shooter
response (unclassified).
During assignment at DEA Headquarters (Wash DC), focused research on illicit us
es of the Internet to obtain prescription pharmaceuticals; impacted policy direc
tion targeting unlawful Internet activities.
Provided research (via DEA) for U.S. Congressional efforts towards the creation
and enactment of the Combat Methamphetamine Abuse Act of 2005.
Managed a $2.1 million federal grant (DEA) for purchase and distribution of cla
ndestine laboratory safety equipment and vehicles for field agents and officers.
Served as DEA representative (Watch Officer) at DHS/AT Watch Center, Wash D.C.

Local Law Enforcement Accomplishments


As Deputy Sheriff and subsequently, Criminal Investigator, I conducted investig
ations of traffic accidents, major crimes, homicide, rape, robbery. Formally re
cognized in 1986 by New York State Police Superintendent for solving a double ho
micide.
Created and initiated on-site bank robbery survival training for bank employees
in the Albany, NY area. r
Member of the Montgomery County Sheriffs Office SWAT team.
