the University of California-Berkeley Men's
(football, basketball, and baseball) and Women's
(basketball) sporting events on KALX-FM (90.1).
Was the play-by-play and color commentator for
Oakland Athletic League Sports (football and
baseball) on Focus Cable TV in Oakland, CA.

Consultant - 2009 to present. (specializing in
strategic marketing, branding, promotional
programs, and interactive media). Retained by D
Magazine (Dallas), O-Line Sports (CA), Dulce
Vida spirits (TX) and Rudney Associates (CA) to
provide positioning, strategic marketing, brand
development and interactive programs.
Managing Director - hawkeye - 2001 to 2008 and
President / EVP - The Marketing Continuum (TMC)
- 1986 to 2001. Recruited by year-old startup,
TMC, for brand development, product positioning,
marketing strategy, creative, promotion
execution and major corporate accounts
management.
Advanced to EVP/Partner in 1987, and then to
President in 1991. Became sole proprietor of
TMC in 1996. Opened offices in San Francisco,
CA, and Norwalk, CT. Propelled growth to $50M.
After 10 years as President of TMC, orchestrated
its sale to hawkeye. Retained by hawkeye with
full P&L responsibility for advertising and
promotional marketing practice. Played a key
role in integrating TMC.
Directed teams that earned two Food and
Marketing Magazine Brammy Awards (Rolling Rock,
Snapple) as well as Point of Purchase
Advertising Institute (POPAI) Sales Promotion of
the Year honors (Rolling Rock). Co-led launch
of interactive business. In 2008, grew the
interactive business from one employee to 25
with Dean Foods, Hollywood Casino, and Make-A-
Wish web sites.
