MOTOROLA - Chandler, Arizona 1992 - 1999
Hired by the Director of the Space Segment of the IRIDIUM
program and held a number of critical roles during the life
of the program including program management, information
systems design and implementation, and operations leadership
for this multi-billion dollar satellite production and launch
program that achieved an industry transforming rate of
building one satellite per week, and launching over 70
satellites in just a year.
Manager - Enterprise Systems and Project Management
(1995-1999)
* Led the engineering team responsible for
implementation of information systems hardware and software
for development, manufacturing, supply chain integration,
and launch of a constellation of 72 satellites. The ERP,
SCM, PLM and MES systems implemented by my team were
critical for the one-a-week build of satellites, and tracked
full product traceability, generated the satellite software
for loading into flash memory, and assured the integrity of
satellite hardware and software configuration prior to test
breakdown, shipment, and launch.
* Leader of a $2M Y2K remediation effort focused on
satellite test equipment and engineering development
