Construction Control Representative
Directly oversee 4 military construction (MIL_CON) projects each costing over $2
0million each. Responsible for the enforcement of contract documents with respec
t to specifications. Work directly for the Project Engineer (PE) and Resident En
gineer (RE) assigned. Ensure what is detailed in contract plans and specificatio
ns are actually installed in proper sequence. Provide assistance on technical me
ans and methods of construction. Document daily progress of construction, materi
al and equipment deliveries, installation of major equipment, accidents, weather
conditions, manpower on site, rate of progress, instructions given to the contr
actor, agreements reached with the contractor, work conditions, safety, etc. in
the Resident Management computer System (RMS) and through photos of the site. Pr
epare monthly estimates of work in place, based on the Pay Application Schedule
of Values. Coordinate technical inspections of mechanical, electrical, structura
l, systems as required, drawing on the Engineering Section for advice throughout
the project. Assist the Project/Resident Engineers with schedule and submittal
reviews to ensure compliance with the contract documents. Participate in weekly
contractor meetings to ensure proactive partnering with the contractor on the ma
nagement of the project. Assist in the mentoring of both the contractors and the
Districts Local Nation Quality Assurance (LN QA) personnel. Proactively manage
contractors, anticipating issues and addressing them prior to them becoming a cr
isis. Schedule commissioning and start-up of major systems and equipment, ensuri
ng manufacturer representatives conduct proper inspections and tests prior to tu

Perform technical fuels functions. Operate fuels control center to monitor all p
roduct movements and ensure timely response to mission requirements. Coordinate
refueling requirements with supported agencies and ensure appropriate prioritiza
tion of support requirements. Ensure an effective vehicle preventive maintenance
program is carried out. Operate mobile and hydrant refueling equipment to dispe
nse products to aircraft and ground support equipment and facilities. Operate cr
yogenic storage tanks to dispense products. Calculate and document issue transac
tions for all products. Maintain quality control of petroleum fuel, and cryogeni
c products. Operate and maintain laboratory test equipment. Collect and analyze
product samples from receipt sources, bulk storage tanks, and dispensing equipme
nt. Document analysis results in FAS and reviews quality trend analysis records.
Establishes a sample correlation program with the aerospace fuels area laborato
ry to ensure the integrity of the base-level analysis procedures. Collect fuel s
amples from crashed aircraft and submits them to the area laboratory for full sp
ecification analysis. Ensure an effective product segregation and recovery progr
am is implemented. Implement the lockout, tag out program to prevent the use of
substandard fuel or facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities: Served as NCOIC and element leader in selectively m
anned 271-member squadron with a full-time ceremonial mission. Performed in all
unit ceremonies while also executing a variety of ancillary responsibilities, in
cluding mission scheduling, standardization/evaluation and Pentagon Tours operat
ions. Ensured subordinate Ceremonial Guardsmen maintain mission readiness and ha
d immediate supervision of between five and 10 Airmen. Had the responsibility of
representing the United States and the Air Force in a variety of military/civil
ian ceremonies, conducted throughout Washington, D.C., including ceremonies at t
he White House, Pentagon, National Mall, Arlington National Cemetery and the sac
red Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Also managed USAF Honor Guard armory; responsib
le for the security, accountability, maintenance, inspection and safety of 354 M
14 rifles, 100 M1 rifles, 25 1903 rifles, 9 M15 revolvers, 3 M9 pistols and 43,3
64 rounds of ammunition. Conducted inspections to ensure controlled area and per
sonnel are compliant in accordance with Air Force instruction. Conducted safety
inspections of four buildings/220 individual records; zero discrepancies on annu
