Duties: With General Tobacco my duties have many hats, I perform sales rep func
tions working the retail streets to include selling cigarettes, pipe tobacco, RO

arket shelves, build displays, & store product in the backrooms. Promoted to Sa
les Representative in two years time, basic duties was to sell as much product t
o customers in an assigned area. Customers included store managers of all the m
ajor super market chains in the area, Raleys, Luckys, Albertsons, Vans, & Safewa
y; included in the mix were Liquor stores, convenience stores and box stores lik

ixteen merchandisers. It was at this level where I excelled in all aspects of t
he beverage business. I was involved in major re-sets, called on small chains to
book Ads, built custom displays (spelled various themes), trained new employees
; sold routes, delivered product to special accounts, was called on many times t
o dispatch, which was to route over 28 vehicles over a 50 square mile area when
our dispatcher was out, it involved matching the right drivers in the right area
s not to create havoc in delivery times.
