Final work

In order to set an Interior design which represents the Colombian

Culture. I´ve being working in what I call the most deepest cultural
patterns that identify my culture and should be not avoid in the
creative process where the sociological roots and the aesthetic work
are directly connected and might be considered in our Future.
The creation of these spaces is based on the following features:
-The relationship between nature and personal environment
-The strong influence of Catholic Religion in Furniture and modern
patterns
-Social behaviors and its relationship with the space
-Strong and high colors as a part of Latin American Identity.
-Handicraft as a way to develop Design
-The challenge of adapting smaller and reduced spaces.
I selected a duplex apartament scenario, nowadays in Colombia this
configuration become more popular and where people can Find the
equilibrium between the traditional house and reduce spaces in urban
areas

Starting for the social area which is fundamental for Colombian society, meetings and family life are the base in social behaviours, even when the food culture is important as
well, The design in this room connects all this social activities in one espace enabling the interaction of all the members. There is a mixture of modern furniture made by
Manufacturas Muñoz one of the most important furniture company in the country with vestiges of handycraft but technologized by industrial process and deep understanding
from the design field as well.

The presence of colours indeed a highlighted feauture of latinamerican culture influences by african and prehispanic roots. The close relationship with nature in colombians
life should be exposed in the interior designed, considered as one of the vital points of the house. Even when I try to keep minimalistic furniture I think is important to remark
colours and natural fibers as a piece of art.

4.San Sebastian dead, David Manzur, 1997. This
a piece of art wich is influenceed by catholicism
but at the same time makes a strong critic to our
society. This artist exposes his position over a
rigid a cruel social pattern and asks his rights to
be gay. I consider very important this piece,
because enphasize the religion physionomy and
makes a call to every bodys rigth

Independent Room

In this room I tried to rest importance to colours and emphasize the shapes of the room, wich alowed to have some visual tension just on the furniture more than on the
fabrics or blankets. On the other hand as is been said before there will be a handicraft touch in this case is protagonist the carpet done by guayuu tribe in the coast.
The reduced space is managed in a the propper way in order to located just few articles in the room and visualize a peacefull environment
