As a B-747 Captain for a large, foreign international airline, responsible for m
anaging the safe operation of the aircraft. Order changes in fuel supply, load,
route, or schedule to insure safety of flight. Determines plan of action during
passenger interference, medical emergencies, equipment malfunctions or other eve
nts and directs all aircraft crew.
SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENT: Successfully completed an accident/incident free car

Korean Air, Los Angeles, CA
B-747 Captain, November 1988 - November 1990
Hired to fly B-747s and to assist in the integration of foreign pilots into the
airline at a crucial time in the airline's history when the FAA threatened to ba
n flights into US airspace. Conducted training sessions in: English language ski
lls, U.S. airport layouts, FAA Directives, and other critical information.
SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Successfully trained foreign pilots to operate with

Tower Air, New York, New York
747 CAPTAIN-VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS-CHECK CAPTAIN May 1982 - June 1988
Initially hired as a B-747 CAPTAIN for this fledgling charter carrier with few a
irplanes and primarily military contracts. Promoted to Vice President of Operati
ons and restructured company, developed short and long range goals and objective
s, analyzed costs, negotiated contracts, hired and managed personnel, and set pe
rformance standards. Managed and administered a $150 million annual budget. Also
served as Check Captain; Pilot performance evaluator. Wrote evaluations and mad
e recommendations for future training if needed.
SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Instrumental in growing aircraft fleet from 1.5 air
craft to 17 B-747s with worldwide operations with no accidents or incidents. Suc
cessfully directed operations into a profitable business venture.
People's Express Airline, Newark, NJ
January 1980 - May 1982
Although primarily hired as a B-737 Captain, integrated into management structur
e immediately. Interviewed pilots and played a key role in hiring and training q
ualified pilots and support personnel. Influencial in matters concerning operati
ons and policy issues and FAA compliances.
SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Played a key role in integrating B 727, B 737 and B
747 aircraft into fleet. Instrumental in growing company from 17 aircraft to m
ore than 90 aircraft with more than 1,000 pilots and 5,000 support personnel.

DC ANG was primarily responsible for ensuring the safety of more than 500 milita
ry and civilian employees. Reviewing procedures to identify areas needing improv
ement or increased training; investigating accidents; managing crises; and prepa
ring administrative, financial, and technical reports.
SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Selected to fly high ranking officials, cabinet mem
bers, including the Vice President of the United States. Extensive experience an
d integration with Pentagon personnel concerning flight operations and war time
deployments. Member of the Special Forces Logistical Deployment Staff, Air Force
Reserve, responsible for aircraft support and deployment of forces.
