Co-Owner/ Business Consultant (startup venture), 2/2010 - Current
Opened the doors to a walk-in, no appointment needed retail medical care clinic.
The business is fulfilling the needs of patients that need immediate medical c
are for the top fifty aliments that afflict patients seven days a week. These c
linics provide employers affordable medical services to their employees with or
without healthcare insurance.
Accomplishments:
In working with the SBA, managed to successfully open two clinics with plans to
open up two more in 2011 and two in 2012 in an industry niche that is growing at
15% per year. Currently working with local businesses such as WALMART to offer
their employees immediate, affordable health care through an outbound sales eff
ort.
Brought together health professionals, physicians and Nurse Practioners through
an incentive based program to motivate them to work for Quick Care Clinics. Pro
vide the motivation, leadership and vision for the clinics to be a successful ve
nture.

Owner/ Business Consultant (startup venture), 10/2006 - Current
Serve as a change agent in assisting small businesses in setting goals, formulat

and investors on numerous projects. Partner with local County and City official

Brought together two stakeholders, along with a client to form an LLC to work wi
th the Las Cruces City Engineers to bring about the revitalization of the downto
wn area in building a combination parking garage, retail space, and condominium
facility. This project is anticipated to be a $3M to $5M, two year build-out in
volving investors, city funding and Federal Grants (e.g. Main Street programs).
Acted as the point person, among stakeholders in creating and project managing a
Business Plan to design and build an upscale retirement community over the next
two years with a projected cost of $3 million for Phase 1.
Provide leadership and present sales courses for small businesses at the Small B
usiness Development Center of Las Cruces (SBDC).

melines by two years ahead of all business plan targets.

Owner/General Contractor (startup venture), 6/2004 - Current
Build homes ranging from $165k to $600k. Bring together the best subcontractors
, vendors, and materials to bring about the successful projects in building cust
omer homes. Currently plan, design, and manage various projects, which include r
esidential building in Las Cruces and Sunland Park, NM. Work closely with potent
ial clients to plan and build their custom homes while remaining cost effective
and within their budgets. Hire, manage, inspect, and mediate all work done by ou
tside subcontractors. Work closely with local, county and state inspectors.
Accomplishments:
Selected to be on the 500 member Home Builders' Board of Directors in 2004. Led
the effort to set new business standards within the Board of Directors as well a
s within the organization. Introduced strategic plan, a first in the organizati
on's 50 years of existence. Pushed the organization into the political arena an
d rallied against unfair, no growth laws in the State, County, and City. Was se
lected as the 2009 Builder of the Year and became the 2010 President of the Home
Builders' Association.
Nominated for the position of new CEO, however declined. Spearheaded a national
search for a new CEO and developed contract with incentives and goals for the o
fficer to achieve.
Assisted on City and County issues involving the engineers and politicians; curr
ently asked to be a part of future planning for the City as well as County.
ALPHANET SOLUTIONS, Cedar Knolls, NJ: A leading IT professional services firm p
roviding expertise in business advisory, technology implementation, and managed

Director of Contracted Managed Services, 4/2002 - 3/2003
Oversaw the operations of three departments: MIS, Help Desk, and a Network Opera
tions Center (NOC). (Two of the departments were revenue producing.) Managed a
NOC Manager, a Client Services Manager and a Web Master, along with all outside
consultants and service personnel. Worked with offshore Help Desk groups to bri
ng about more client support with a better bottom line for my department. Took
over a department that lacked focus with a low morale and turned it into a team-
driven environment.
Accomplishments:
Formed a group called "Big Think," an eight member team that assessed company is
sues or perceived problems, and formulated a remedy in the form of a white paper
for the CEO and his Executives to review. This team concept kept morale up, mo
tivated employees to go beyond themselves, and to think outside the box, while c
reatively setting goals for the company or department.
Brought together the Help Desk team, the NOC team, the internal support staff an
d the outside consultants and service personnel to act as one unit.
