ACTIVITY INFORMATION
HOME INVASION 11-27792

On 6/16/2011 deputies from Ypsilanti Twp responded to the 1700 block of Victor Ave for a residential burglary report. The victim told deputies their home was broken into sometime during the night. Police were called at about 7:30AMbut the victim was unsure when the incident occurred. Deputies determined the suspect entered the home through a ground floor bedroom window. An unknown quantity of cash was stolen from the home. No suspects have been indentified at the time of this posting. The case remains under investigation.

LARCENY

11-27808

Deputies assigned to York Twp were called to investigate a complaint of a stolen handgun in the 9000 block of Meadowlark Dr, York Twp. Police were contacted on 6/16/2011, at about 9:30AM. The time and date of the incident is still being determined at the time of this posting. No suspect information was available. The theft remains under investigation. Stolen Property: 1 .40cal Smith & Wesson handgun

UDAA (STOLEN VEHICLE)

11-27809

Superior Twp deputies are currently investigating the report of a stolen vehicle from the 8000 block of Warwick Court. Police were called to the victims home the morning of 6/16/2011. The victim informed deputies their vehicle was parked outside of their homeit was discovered missing about 9:00AM. It is believed the vehicle was stolen sometime during the night. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The incident remains under investigation. Stolen Property: 1995 Black Dodge Ram pickup truck

HOME INVASION

11-27866

Deputies from Ypsilanti Twp were called to the 1800 block of Meadowoods Dr for the complaint of a daytime burglary. The incident was reported on 6/16/2011, and occurred sometime during the mid-afternoon hours. Entry to the home was gained through a ground floor window. Several items were reported stolen. No arrests have been made at this time. The incident is still being investigated by area deputies. Stolen Property: 1 X-Box game console 1 Kinect for X-Box

LARCENY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

11-27888

Superior Twp deputies were called to the 9000 block of Ascot Dr for the complaint of personal property stolen from a parked car. The victim told deputies someone stole and MP3 music player from their vehicle between 6/15/2011 and 6/16/2011. No suspect information was known. The case remains open. Stolen Property: 1 Nsight MP3 player Miscellaneous CDs (unknown quantity)

LARCENY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

11-27903

On 6/16/2011 deputies were called to investigate a theft of personal property from a motor vehicle, which had occurred in the 7000 block of Faircrest Dr. The victim was unable to provide a specific time frame for the incident. Several items were reported stolen. No suspect information was available. The incident remains under investigation. Stolen Property: 1 IPOD (black) 1 Acer laptop PC (dark blue)

DRUNK DRIVING ARREST

11-27862

Deputies assigned to patrol Bridgewater Twp arrested a suspected drunk driver, as the result of a traffic crash investigation which occurred on 6/16/2011, around 3:00PM. Deputies were called to the 11000 block of W. Bemis Rd for the complaint of a suspicious driver who had reportedly been involved in a collision with another vehicle. Deputies located the suspect and found him passed out behind the wheel of his vehiclean open liquor bottle was discovered inside of the car. Investigating deputies determined the suspect was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was arrested at the scene. The investigators police report will be forwarded to the Prosecutors Office for review of requested charges.

WEAPONS OFFENSE ARREST

11-27894

On 6/16/2011 deputies assigned to the Community Policing Team in Superior Twp arrested a person in illegal possession of a stun gun. The deputies were conducting a traffic related investigation when the weapon was discovered inside of the suspects vehicle at about 6:00PM. The suspect was transported to the county jail without incident. A copy of the investigators report will be forwarded to the Prosecutors Office for review.

FELONIOUS ASSAULT/STABBING

11-27952

On 6/17/2011, at approximately 12:15AM, deputies from Ypsilanti Twp were called to the 3000 block of East Michigan Ave for the complaint of a large fight. Responding deputies were informed someone at the scene had been stabbed with a knife. Investigators determined multiple persons were involved in a fight outside of a residence. A subject escalated the violence by stabbing a male subject. The investigators were able to identify the suspect and take him into custody. The male victim was reported to be in stable medical condition. Deputies are still determining the circumstances which led up to the incident. Upon completion of the investigation, a copy of the police report will be sent to the Prosecutors Office for review.

ARREST INFORMATION
11-27769 Deputies assigned to Countywide Patrol assisted the Ypsilanti Police Department with the arrest of a wanted subject in the 500 block of First Ct, City of Ypsilanti. The arrest was made on 6/16/2011 at approximately 12:30AM. City police identified the wanted subject; and, deputies transported the arrestee to the county jail without incident.
