Pro-Choice Violence and Illegal Activities in South Dakota

Aberdeen, South Dakota

Manslaughter, Aggravated Assault (3 counts) and Assault Sundance Medicinehorn Keeble was living in an Aberdeen apartment with his 20-year-old sister and his 21-year-old girlfriend, who was four to five months pregnant. On November 21, 2003, Keeble deliberately stabbed his girlfriend in the stomach and savagely beat his own sister. He punched her in the mouth so hard she lost several teeth, and his girlfriend's preborn baby died as a result of his attack, although the girlfriend survived. Keeble was charged with fetal homicide, three counts of aggravated assault and simple assault, and was jailed on a half-million dollars bond. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to thirty years in prison. Brown County prosecutor Mark McNeary said "This was a heinous act. The defendant intentionally stabbed the woman in the stomach, causing the death of the unborn child." South Dakota offers "full coverage" to unborn victims of violence, allowing the state to prosecute in the death of a preborn child at any stage. References: Associated Press. Gross Negligence Abortionist Benjamin Munson, a member of the National Abortion Federation (NAF), was charged with and tried for manslaughter after killing Linda Padfield on June 18, 1973. The judge in the case ordered the jury to find him not guilty of manslaughter. Pro-abortionists raised money for his defense, once again showing their callous disregard for the lives of women. The pathologist found a preborn child of nearly five months gestation, missing its leg, arm, part of its skull and part of its torso, in Padfield's uterus. The autopsy revealed she died of a massive infection. Munson sued to enjoin the prosecution but was denied in his motion. The Attorney General said that "You take a three-inch leg off something, you have to know that there's more in there than just the leg."

Munson's defense argued that the State could not prove that he intended to harm Padfield by leaving so much of the preborn child inside her, but a prosecution expert witness said that infection would result in every case when so much tissue is left behind. Death Threats (5 incidents), Animal Abuse and Vandalism When they had total control of all of the power structures, pro-abortionists used to love to tell pro-lifers "If you don't like the law, change it!" Well, now pro-lifers are getting stronger and stronger, and we are beginning to change the laws, and the pro-aborts still aren't happy, of course. In April 2006, a total ban on abortion passed both houses of the South Dakota legislature and was signed by Governor Mike Rounds. Enraged pro-abortionists immediately began lashing out at major pro-life supporters of the ban. This is typical behavior for pro-abortionists, who despise the democratic process, because they will always lose when the people have a voice. The pro-aborts always ram their agenda through the court system, and when pro-lifers dare to stand up to them, they react in a violent and cowardly manner. Leslee Unruh, founder of the Alpha Center, a crisis pregnancy center, was one of the leading voices in favor of the ban, so she and her family became a favorite target of cowardly, skulking pro-abortionists. Pro-abortionists splattered her house with eggs, stuffed her mailbox with coat hangers, and threw dead animals on the property of her husband's chiropractic clinic, leading some employees to fear coming to work [we must wonder how loudly the pro-aborts would snivel if a pro-lifer put dead animals on the lawn of one of their precious abortion mills]. Leslee received several death threats on the telephone in the middle of the night, and also received many letters filled with hate. The pro-abortion bigots who own her favorite coffee shop even told her to stop coming there. Leslee said "They said, 'We have a choice as to who we serve, and we choose not to serve you.' They were careful to emphasize the word 'choice.'" She also said that I am sad for all the people that send the hangers and have all this anger because of being connected to the abortion issue in their own lives. I'm concerned about my whole country now. I thought you were at least free to say what you thought, but they do not want me to speak. Not only do they want to hush unborn children, they don't want me to talk about it, either. ... It seems to make them the most angry when I talk about post-abortive women. Leslee said that she plans to use the coat hangers which were so kindly donated by pro-abortionists to hang up baby clothes at the pregnancy-resource center.
