Forsyth County Kick Butts Day Carnival Proposal

When: Saturday, March 27, 2010 Where: Boys & Girls Club Time: 12: 00 p.m. 3 p.m. As a community based group it is our goal to reach out to as many youth and community groups as possible. In visiting individual schools the Youth Advisory Council has been able to reach out to and recruit many youth to join this great movement. We feel that it is time to hold a community event that will give those students who have not yet been introduced to what we do the opportunity to engage and become apart of the TRU movement. Kick Butts Day is a day to empower youth to stand up and speak out against tobacco use with fun, educational events, and activities, so here in Forsyth County we feel that having an informational carnival will raise awareness and eye brows of community members to act and advocate on youth tobacco prevention.
