Main Mission
The Global Network Architect will be member of the Global Network Design Authority within the Global Network Service Delivery organisation and will work closely with his/her peers in the Regional Service Delivery organizations to ensure the mission and objectives of the AXA Tech organisation are accomplished. This Global Network Architect position is an advanced technical position responsible for a variety of complex network tasks including the responsibility for the development of Global Network Architecture & Design for all elements of the AXA Global Network and its sub-components. This position also covers the establishment and execution of comprehensive, high quality procedures to support the Global Network Design Authority.

Focus of the first 365 days

Work closely with the Global Network Regional Datacenter Team and Design Team on the creation of an effective Global Network - Regional Data Center Build Team Assist with the development of appropriate solutions, design and architecture for Regional Data Center Assist with the baseline and documentation of the existing architecture, solutions , standards Participation in the RDC Governance Take a lead in the Global Network Design Active participation in cross organizational Architectural Consultation and Governance

CHANGE MANAGEMENT Manage and Control changes to the Global Network & sub-components including validation of the changes, impact analysis and verification of Release & Test Plans ARCHITECTURE SOLUTIONS, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION Develop Global Standards, Solutions etc .. Technical Skills

Responsible for network design of Global offices, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Converged Fabric and all Data communication networks (routers, switches, firewalls etc) and ensures that these networks support business requirements at both a Local & Global Level.

Job Description GNSD Global Solutions Engineer

. Responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of regional, national and international networks for the Data Centers. Provide consultancy, advice and assistance to the Regional Network Engineers in their use of networking products for domestic and international connectivity. Produce technical documents for global publication thats used by regional engineers to implement network solutions.

Ability to collaborate with a Global team, share relevant information, seek to convince others, know how to listen effectively and promote a team spirit Client focused and service minded to truly listen and understand the Voice of the Customer. Linguistic Knowledge
Taking into account the multi cultural environment, a good English knowledge in speaking and writing is mandatory (level 3 / extensive).

Managerial skills
Ability to interact with various levels of management. This includes possessing a level of professionalism and business maturity when representing GNSD to other internal organizations.

Experience required
7 - 10 years of experience in networking and network security including: o Data Centre Technology o VPN's, enterprise routing and switching o Enterprise network architecture, design and implementation 3 - 5 years experience in: o MPLS network design o Core Network Services (NTP/DNS, IPAM) o QOS design and implementation o IPS/IDS o Datacentre Layout Design o Firewall technologies/management (Cisco, Checkpoint) Certifications/education: o CCIE Routing & Switching o CCIE - Security
