This enables wireless mirroring on the TV screen of any content available in the notebook, such as games, YouTube, Blu-ray movie s, Hulu or any other PC application, including 3D, at resolution of up to 1080p/ 60Hz. The demonstration will also include wireless mirroring from an iPhone to the TV. The WHDI wireless transmitter module, integrated with a mobile phone, presents the ultimate solution for wireless connectivity of uncompressed HD video and aud io from the phone to any HD display, such as LCDs, plasma displays and projector s. AMIMON's WHDI wireless video chipsets provide an excellent user experience from these devices to the big screen with crystal clear picture quality, link robustn ess and low latency (less than 1mSec) for interactive applications. Uses include CE, gaming, business, network, conference and in-room and multi-room use in the home for sharing HD content with full coverage, through walls, no line of sight required. "No other technology has been able to meet the same level of performance as WHDI . The affordability of wireless HD mirroring without compressing and without com promising video quality, along with AMIMON's support and experience in China, ma ke WHDI an excellent choice for the smooth development of HD products for the Ch inese market," said Ehud Shchori, Director, Hisense Accessories Division. RRAM is a next generation non-volatile memory gaining momentum with industrial a nd academic efforts worldwide. RRAM is attractive as a replacement for FLASH mem ory and as a complement for non-volatile memory applications due to its speed, p ower profile and scaling. One of the published obstacles in deploying robust RRA M has been establishing a stable memory element. The race to develop circuits ha s left a gap for development of reliable materials and deposition techniques for low cost manufacturing. "SEMATECH is pleased to welcome 4DS as a partner," said Raj Jammy, vice presiden t of emerging technologies at SEMATECH. "4DS' unique expertise in RRAM materials technology will complement our device, process and characterization expertise. The joint partnership will expand on SEMATECH's current collaborative efforts to develop suitable materials and process techniques for future non-volatile memor y applications." The 4DS platform for non-volatile memory is a low temperature CMOS compatible, b ack end of line (BEOL) process with a simple structure that requires significant ly fewer mask steps than FLASH memory. It potentially operates with significantl

y lower power and writes faster than conventional flash memories. The Company sp ent years developing materials and processes with a promising combination of sim plified structures for manufacturing with low power performance. The 4DS team is comprised of Silicon Valley veterans in material science, processing, equipment and memory device engineering. "This novel structure and simplified process ref lects 4DS know-how in materials processing and manufacturing," said 4DS' Chief S cientist, Dongmin Chen, a nanoscale quantum physicist and former Harvard Rowland Institute Fellow. "The SEMATECH collaboration will produce further validation o f the 4DS offering," said Chen. ---------------------------------------------------------WatchGuard Teams with Mitel WatchGuard Technologies has announced that it will provide next-generation firew all appliances for businesses using Mitel unified communications (UC) solutions. To accelerate the transition to architectural skills and capa bilities, Cisco is evolving its Learning Partner Program to deliver enhanced arc hitectural training to channel partners and customers through its global network of more than 450 Learning Partners. As per the new Architecture Specializations, Cisco is adding three advanced arch itecture-focused specializations to its Resale Channel Partner Program: Advanced Borderless Network Architecture Specialization, Advanced Collaboration Architec ture Specialization, and Advanced Data Center Architecture Specialization. Begin ning in August 2012, partners must attain all three architecture specializations in order to achieve Cisco Gold Certification. Cisco Silver Certified Partners w ill be required to have a minimum of one architecture specialization, and Cisco Premier Certified Partners can have either one of the architecture specializatio ns or the Cisco Express Foundation Specialization to achieve certification statu s beginning in August 2012. To ensure a smooth recertification process, Cisco is providing a transition period of 16 to 28 months for existing Cisco Certified P artners. The architecture specializations do not become a mandatory requirement for certifications until a partner s anniversary date beginning August 2012 throug h July 2013. Cisco has also reduced the cost of certifications and decreased the training required to achieve the new certifications. For a new Cisco Gold Certi fication, the cost has been reduced by approximately $50,000, and the total trai ning hours have been reduced by up to 25 percent. Cisco is also offering up to $ 5,000 in Cisco Learning Credits for each of the first 500 partners to complete t he recertification process.
