About KGS Transaction & Restructuring: M&A is amongst the most significant transformational event at a company and they form the life blood of investors such as private equity firms and other financial investors. To help our clients execute M&A transactions, KGS provides valuation, due diligence, and a variety of other services related to transaction execution, on both the buy side and sell side.

Transaction Services: Analyse financial statements, conduct due diligence and make recommendations on investment risks and opportunities Corporate Finance: Advise clients in assessing strategic and financial alternatives. This entails preparation of an information memorandum, identifying the potential targets and bidders, arriving at the deal value and thus helping the client in achieving the synergies or returns expected through the transaction. Restructuring: Identifying problem areas which can enable the clients to implement solutions precisely and quickly. Solutions include providing assistance to stressed and distressed companies, identifying under-performing businesses, and helping manage the receivership and bankruptcy processes. Business Modelling Group Services include building, validating and developing documentation on complex financial models used across various sectors and end users.

The Role: Associate Consultant will be a part of the transactions & restructuring team that carries out financial analysis and due diligence (buy side / sell side situation), additionally conduct business plan reviews and organize databooks.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the execution of Financial Due diligence and Accounting Services engagements within practice. Accounting Advisory practices involving data analysis. Perform data analysis/data structuring financial statement analysis. Assist in preparation of chart of accounts for preparation of base documents that would be used in financial analysis. Assist in consolidation of trial balances, income statements, balance sheets and cash flows for providing base documents for financial analysis. Prepare databook templates in accordance with firm and professional standards in accordance with the needs of the onshore team. Review deliverables to help ensure that agreed upon quality standards are met. Work with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery quality is consistent and in line with expectations of the onshore team. Meet established delivery goals. Produce quality and timely deliverables.

Designation: Associate Consultant Salary & Benefits:

Compensation will range from INR 5.6 L to INR 6.6 L. These ranges include estimated bonus earning potentials and the actual earning will depend on an individuals performance rating and company policy. Details of the compensation breakup will be shared with short-listed candidates only.

Location: Gurgaon Skills and Competence required:

Strong academic credentials as evidenced by an Post graduate degree in accounting, business administration from an accredited college/university. Aptitude for financial statement analysis. Developing an understanding of accounting standards & methodologies. Good communication skills, including strong English language skills (spoken and written). Excellent knowledge of MS office professional including expertise in MS Excel & MS word. Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments. Ability to take direction and work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels. Willingness and a desire to learn and work overtime, where needed. Experience in Accounting and data analytics is essential. Experience of working in Finance / Accounting and outsourced process.
