Key leader in a department of Staffing Consultant and Staffing Specialists which fills over
1000 positions annually. Instrumental player in the strategic departmental realignment from a
“filling jobs” mindset to a “staffing business partner” role for in-house recruiters.
Conducted Quality of Hire audits for several major business lines to measure hiring success.
As a result of the findings, initiated efforts to re-engineer the hiring process from sourcing
strategies through on-boarding. Created pre-employment assessments, including skills
based testing, and developed behavioral/performance based interviewing tools. These effort
contributed to decreasing of <1 year turnover by 35%.
Acted as Account Manager for numerous business lines to ensure strategic alignment of
Staffing plans with business goals. Recent Highlights included:
• Redesign of hiring process for Contact Center resulting in lowering turnover from
53% to 14% in the first year, with hiring cost saving of over $200,000 and significant
improvement in CC service standards.
• Led Staffing initiative in the design and development of recruiting plans for Unum’s
IT Service Centre in Ireland.
• Partnered with HRBP in creating Front Line Manager hiring process which has
resulted in a 50% increase in external hire for such roles.
Monitored recruiting metrics including time to fill, recruiter effectiveness and quality of hire.
Accountable for maintaining metric standards as part of corporate balanced business
scorecard. Metrics met or exceeded expectations every year. Ensured recruiting diversity
strategies were in place for the unit.
Led the RFP process evaluating ATS systems and play key role as Staffing Management
representative in implementation of Taleo ATS and Onboarding systems.
Key member of redesign of outsourced Temp to Hire process and the development RPO
recruiting model.
Acted as Project Manager, Mentor and Trainer to a team of 4 Recruiting Specialists, dotted
line reporting. Coordinated work flow, project assignment, and developed recruiter skills of
the unit. Also responsible for coordinating and conducting “Lunch and Learn” training
sessions for entire Corporate Staffing organization.
Responsible for the recruitment, qualifying, and facilitation of the hiring process for the
Information Technology and Corporate Finance departments respective staff. Reduced
fees paid to external staffing vendors by 75% while ensuring an extremely high quality of
hire for over 300 hard to fill positions.
Designed and implemented a Contractor Procurement Process for IT that standardized the
use of external staff augmentation firms. Spearheaded the procurement and negotiation
process with resulting savings in excess of $250,000.
Responsible for developing marketing and full life cycle recruiting plans to identify industry
