Skill level: Advanced Beginner Materials Needed: 1 skein Bernat Softee Baby yarn in white Size J Hook
Gauge is not important, so experiment with yarns. I recommend baby or lace weight yarns for best results.

INSTRUCTION
Foundation Ch 44 (multiple of 8 plus 12) 1 5 tr in 8th ch from hook; skip next 3 chs; *1 tr in next ch; skip next 3 chs; 5 tr in next ch; skip next 3 chs*; repeat from * to * ending with 1 tr in last ch. Ch 4 and turn (counts as first tr); 2 tr in same space (half shell made); skip 2 next 2 stitches; 1 tr in next stitch (middle or 3rd stitch of shell from previous row); skip next 2 stitches; 5 tr in next stitch (single tr from previous row)*; Repeat from * to * ending with 3 tr in last stitch (half shell made in turning chain from previous row). Ch 4 and turn (counts as first tr); skip next 2 stitches; *5 tr in next stitch 3 (single tr from previous row); skip next 2 stitches; *1 tr in next stitch (middle or 3rd stitch of shell from previous row); skip next 2 stitches*; repeat from * to * ending with 1 tr in last stitch (turning chain of previous row). 4-90 Repeat rows 2 -3. Fasten off.
