The Family Resource Center of South Florida, founded in 1978, serves as an advocate against the neglect and abuse of children throughout South Florida. Currently the leading agency in child welfare services, the Family Resource Center of South Florida works closely with state agencies and programs in providing substance abuse treatment, mental health counseling, psychiatric consultation, parent education, adoption programs and foster care programs to its clients.
