PT XL Axiata Tbk (the Company) (formerly PT Excelcomindo Pratama Tbk) was established
th
on October 6 , 1989 under the name of PT Grahametropolitan Lestari concentrating on
trading and general services.
Axiata Investments (Indonesia) Sdn. Bhd. (formely Indocel Holding Sdn. Bhd.) which the
majority shareholder of the Company is fully owned by Axiata Investments (Labuan)
Limited (formely TMInternational (L) Ltd.). Axiata Investments (Labuan) Limited is a
subsidiary of Axiata Group Berhad (formely TM International Berhad).
In accordance with the Articles of Association, the Company is engaged in the business of
providing telecommunications services and/or telecommunications networks and/or
multimedia.
The Company domiciled at GrhaXL, Jln. Mega Kuningan Lot E4-7 No.1, Kawasan Mega
Kuningan, Jakarta 12950.
The Company has direct and indirect ownership in subsidiaries: Excel Phoneloan 818 B.V.,
GSM One (L) Ltd., GSM Two (L) Ltd. and Excelcomindo Finance Company B.V.
