Introduction
Business standard is a serious, respected, top-notch, nonfrivolous, business daily, which founded on the editorial principles of integrity, accuracy and trust. It is published from 12 centres Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Pune, Kochi and Bhubaneswar. BS is circulated in more than 1000 cities across the country. It is regarded as Indias most credible and second largest business daily. BSL is majority-owned by the Kotak Mahindra Group, but is run independently through a board of directors, with TN Ninan (a former editor of the newspaper and perhaps Indias best known business journalist) as chairman and editorial director.

News in todays world is available for free by medium of television, mobiles and internet so in todays modern world its not easy to sell news papers. Many of them dont have time to read newspapers. People in Ahmedabad are not much comfortable with English language they either prefer reading gujarati newspaper like Divya Bhaskar, Sandesh, Gujarat Samachar or if they read financial daily they prefer The Economic times (Gujarati) The Economic times has captured the large chunk of the market share because of its brand TOI. Around 40% of the current market is captured by ET. They promote ET with TOI by giving one rupee off if you purchase both the newspaper.

TECHNOLOGY:
The news paper printing originally started in 1400s in Germany. Since then it has travelled a long distance. Now because of revolution in electronics e-paper and m- paper are introduced, now people can read news papers in there laptops, ebook reader, ipad and mobiles. Business Standard also has its website where people can read daily newspapers from their electronic devices. This save paper and environment and also considers the factor of timeliness.
