If the Republican and Democratic Party Elite Think They Can Repeatedly Betray Their Own Supporters and Continue to Remain in Power ..... Theyre Right.
If you wish the sympathy of broad masses, then you must tell them the crudest and most stupid things. - Adolf Hitler (1889-1945), Fuhrer of the Third German Reich, as quoted in Mein Kampf (1933). From the looks of their rhetoric on the issue of illegal immigration, the Republican and Democratic Party Elite must have taken a page right out of the Fuhrers playbook. How else can one explain the patently ridiculous rationale that each partys leadership elite consistently spews to its base supporters to justify an absolute disregard for Americas porous southern border with Mexico? On one hand is the Republican salesmanship to its core supporters (Main Street Professionals) of the economic benefits derived from the slave labor of 12,000,000 undocumented foreign nationals. On the other hand is Democratic marketing to its core supporters (Economically Insecure) of the tried-and-true corporate exploitation theme interwoven with a strong overtone of racial prejudice and discrimination. Of course, the hype and rationale of the Republican and Democratic Elite to justify their indifference, if not embrace, of Americas illegal immigration crisis is modern-day snake oil salesmanship at its very finest. While the Republican Party Elite continue to sell Middle Class Professionals on the rationale that illegal slave labor is needed to perform those jobs that the Blacks and Unions are too lazy to do, the average Main Street Republican finds that what he bought with his Republican vote is an epidemic of overcrowded public schools, overwhelmed public services, and an overbearing tax burden exacerbated by the jailbreak of illegal immigrants coming across the southern border to avail themselves of free educations and healthcare with practical impunity. Meanwhile, safely out of earshot and far-removed from the chaos of urban underemployment fueled by the oversupply of cheap illegal immigrant labor, the Wall Street Republican Elite revel in expanding profits as a result of their skillful salesmanship of the justified, if not necessary, economic benefits of illegal immigration to their Main Street enablers. Afterall, Republican Party wouldnt deceive their core Professional Middle Class supporters on the illegal immigration issue, especially since the Democratic Party obviously has no interest in stopping illegal immigration because each new alien represents a future Democrat voter, right? Not to be outdone, the Democratic Party Elite have carefully crafted their own illegal immigration marketing campaign. Like any good student of Marketing 101 can attest, the Democratic Elite understand the importance of knowing the motivations of their target market, as well - namely, Rank-and-File Labor, Americans of Color and the Economically Insecure who comprise the Democratic Partys political base. Quite different from the Republican sales pitch, the Democratic Elite sell illegal immigration in the language that appeals to their core supporters - Corporate Exploitation: We must embrace the struggle of those who come to America to work hard, only to be exploited by the racist corporate Republican slave drivers! Motivated by the Democratic Party Elites snake oil salesmanship, the average Rank-and-File Democrat sadly finds that what he bought with his Democratic vote is wage compression and chronic underemployment in the construction, services and maintenance sectors of the economy where he makes his living due to the flood of unskilled labor coming across the southern border with practical impunity. Meanwhile, safely out of earshot and far-removed from the chaos of urban and blue-collar underemployment fueled by the oversupply of cheap illegal immigrant labor, the Democratic Elite revel in the political bonanza created by the millions of poverty-stricken immigrants who will predictably align themselves as Democratic voters in their quest for free healthcare and education in a country they illegally entered. Afterall, the Democratic Party wouldnt deceive their core Americans of Color and Blue-Collar Labor supporters on the illegal immigration issue, especially since the Republican Party obviously has no interest in stopping illegal immigration because each new alien represents cheap labor for Republican corporate interests, right? When viewed as a whole, the politics of illegal immigration provides fascinating and instructive insight into how the Two-Party Elite retain their grip of empowerment at the expense and manipulation of the broad masses that would make even Hitler himself flush with pride. Whereas the average American, Republican and Democrat alike, rejects illegal immigration because of its real-world effects on his livelihood, tax burden and strain on social services, he refuses to recognize the role that his own political party plays in aggressively promoting the illegal immigration problem. The average Middle Class Professional is convinced that the Democratic Party actually promotes illegal immigration and hes right! Similarly, the average Rank-and-File tradesman is convinced that the Republican Party actually promotes illegal immigration and hes right, too! Neither, however, believes that his own political party is where the problem of illegal immigration lies - and thats where theyre both wrong.

Republican Logic:

War on Terror + Patriot Act = Open Border for Illegal Immigrants!

In case you havent heard the newsflash by now, America is in the throes of a War on Terror; you know, the kissing cousin to the War on Drugs of the 1980s and the latest threat to Americas enviable freedoms. From 2002 through 2006 and with George W. Bush occupying the White House and the Republican Party controlling both houses of Congress, the Bush Administration freely implemented its two-pronged strategic plan to ensure Americas security without the obstacle of Democratic obstructionism: (1) adopt an unprecedented policy of aggressive privacy encroachments on the civil liberties of the American People through the promotion and enactment of the Patriot Act so that the reading habits of Aunt Betty in Bossier City could now be tracked and monitored without judicial oversight, and (2) promote a wide-open, no-holds-barred, come-asyou-are open border policy with Mexico where foreign nationals are free to enter the United States, provided, of course, they promise not to bring crack cocaine, shoulder-mounted rocket launchers, or Cesium-137 dirty bomb explosives into the country with them. On second thought, you better make that a pinky promise just to be on the safe side. Thankfully, the Republican Party understood that in waging the War on Terror, strategic thinking is critical to outsmart the bad guys in todays borderless battlefield. In a tactical move not seen since General Norman Schwartzkopfs end-around to conquer Iraqs mighty Republican Guard in Operation Desert Storm, both President Bush and subsequent Republican presidential nominee John McCain openly endorsed a plan for national amnesty to resolve Americas illegal immigration epidemic. The rationale was clear - what better way to reduce the number of illegal immigrants in America than to implement a plan whereby 12 million border trespassers are no longer illegal if they come forward and declare their unauthorized presence in the United States? Hows THAT for thinking outside of the box! It sure beats the insensitive Deportation Model of old and the benefits of slave labor to Republican corporate business interests would be instantaneous! When George W. Bush wasnt pushing for national amnesty of illegal aliens crossing the Mexican border, he was publicly slamming as vigilantism the patriotic volunteerism of concerned Americans participating in the Minuteman Project. These private American citizens used nonconfrontational means to document the daily ritual of illegal border crossings by the thousands while the U.S. Border Patrol and U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service remained paralyzed by woefully inadequate agency funding during the Bush Administrations 8 consecutive years of record-setting spending in the Federal Budget that shattered the mythology of fiscal restraint and responsibility long-trumpeted by the GOP. While still governor of Texas, George W. Bush publicly proclaimed his support for an open-border policy between the U.S. and Mexico, a vision advanced in January 2004 by Mexican President Vincente Fox who flatly called for the future North America to become a borderless economic zone modeled after the European Union. In fact, George W. Bush was so committed to supply his Wall Street corporate allies with an endless supply of cheap labor through a nonenforcement of Americas border laws that his love affair with Mexican nationals practically earned him dual-citizenship and at least one metaphorical honor by those keeping score of his patented double-speak: George W. Bush is so pro-Mexican that if you hit him with a stick, prizes would fall out of him. Of course, as a Main Street Professional and a staple supporter of the Republican Party, youre probably inclined to blame failed Democratic Party policies for the overcrowded schools, overwhelmed police and medical services, and overbearing tax burden created by the influx of illegal immigrants who bring the effects of their poverty to cities and towns across America. If youre not, you should be. George Bush, John McCain, Speaker of the House John Boehner, and the rest of the Wall Street Republican Elite are counting on it.

Democratic Logic:

Outsourced Jobs + Inner-City Poverty = Open Border for Illegal Immigrants!

If you think the Republican Party has a monopoly on the betrayal of its core party supporters on the illegal immigration crisis in America, think again. Since Democratic presidential rockstar Bill Clinton signed NAFTA into law on December 8, 1993 to begin the fall of dominoes in the Global Economy that has sent millions of stable, good-paying American manufacturing jobs first to Mexico and now to China, President Barack Obama has signed similar free trade deals with South Korea, Columbia and Panama (October 2011) to further accelerate the elimination of Americas manufacturing capacity and whats left of sustainable livelihoods for Rank-and-File Labor and People of Color in Americas shrinking factories, mills and sewing plant industries. And just to make sure anyone without a college degree is shackled to a lifetime of economic despair and hopelessness, Democratic President Barack Obama has spent much of his off-camera time in the months leading up to his November 2012 re-election aggressively working to finalize the United States treaty commitment to the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPP) - another treasonous free trade alliance initially promoted by Republican President George Bush in February 2008. Commonly referred to as NAFTA on Steroids, the TPP seeks to bind the United States to the slave-wage economies of Vietnam, Malaysia, Chile, and Peru through the elimination of all trade tariffs (100%) on product imports from member countries by 2015. Moreover, President Obama has (1) openly-adopted a non-enforcement policy of Americas immigration laws, (2) ordered a halt to the deportation of illegal foreign nationals, and personally directed the Justice Departments high-profile assaults on both (3) the State of Arizonas efforts to implement and enforce the state equivalent of federal immigration law and (4) Voter ID laws nationwide designed to ensure the integrity of the American political process. Why is that? Of course, the construction, maintenance, and service sectors of the American economy most impacted by the influx of illegal migrant workers have historically provided stable livelihoods for millions of Americas ethnic minorities, members of Blue-collar Labor, and those without formal college educations - in other words, traditional base supporters of the Democratic Party. Instead of allowing the market conditions of supply and demand dictate the value of labor and trade services in the American economy, lax illegal immigration policy has introduced a massive, artificial supply component in the labor pool that provides businesses and employers with considerable leverage over wage levels. The result is increased competition to American Labor by slave-wage Mexican nationals accustomed to living in abject poverty and who view American minimum-wage earnings as a substantial improvement in their standards of living. Today, not only must Americas labor base fight for its survival against the outsourcing of jobs of corporate globalism facilitated by NAFTA, GATT, CAFTA and their progeny, but it must also now fight against the insourcing of labor that drives illegal immigration and which threatens to take what few stable employment opportunities havent been given away by the Democrats (NAFTA) and Republicans (CAFTA) under the charade of free trade. And how has the Democratic Party Elite and its Propaganda Squad (Labor Leadership, self-appointed African American advocates) responded to the crippling effects of illegal immigration on unemployed and underemployed Democratic Party base supporters displaced by the surge of incoming slave labor? Do the Democratic Party Elite propose the arrest and deportation of illegal immigrants in an attempt to relieve the wage compression created by the oversupply of cheap labor that continues to drive down the standards of living for traditional Democratic constituencies such as Americans of Color and Americas Rank-and-File Labor?
