Profile
Born in Etterbeek in 1986, I always was interested in new ways to express my creativity. When I discovered computer programming, I immediately liked the almost endless possibilities that it offers. My strong points are my love for work, my positive attitude and abilities to learn. I am fluent in French, Dutch and English.

Education
In this section we cover all relevant educations and certifications ISIS Papyrus 3 week workshop. ABIS Certificat: MVS, OS/390, z/OS, COBOL, DB2, 2007 - Present: Interrupted Master in Computer Sciences after success in year one 2004 - 2007: Bachelor in Computer Science (ULB). 2004: Qualified general secondary (latin/science) at Decroly (Uccle) school.

Relevant Experiences
In this section we cover the relevant professional experiences July 2010 Present: Consultant at Rational Design Being my own boss, I was introduced to numerous new work experiences like: Contract drafting and negotiations. Managing client projects and internal projects. People recruitment. Product definition and marketing. Accounting and spending management. Other than these new experiences, I developed during this year a J2EE Framework, CMS and web based web site editor. I also contributed to a Belgian Open Source project, JWt. September 2009 June 2010: Young professional at AG Insurance I worked on a macro project aiming to update and standardize all workflow, letter printing (>60 millions letters a year), letter scanning and archiving in the company headquarters (>2000 daily users). 2007 and 2008: Assistant to the introductory course on Java My role was to aid the students of Solvay Business School understanding and applying teachings about Java, Eclipse, JDBC, and object-oriented programming.

Business analysis
Understanding my clients need is the most important part of my job. Meeting with people who have never worked in IT and understanding there business is a challenge but one of the most exiting parts of my current work. Bridging the gap between Business and IT was also one of my responsibilities at AG Insurance. There I participating in drafting and reviewing of user requirements. This has lead to the participation in many meetings between business and IT. Related skills: Sparks Enterprise Architect, Power Point, Excel Word, Visio, Pencil

Project management
Seeing I have my own clients, managing their projects has always been part of my job. Project management involved some people management (i.e. finding and managing web designers) but was mostly about meeting deadlines and organizing the work accordingly. Related skills: Gantt diagrams, Agile development, XP Programming, people and presentation skills, knowledge of Prince2 and CMMI.

Architecture
Ive been making software since 2003 (7 years). I started with making my own 3D engine and am currently working (among other things) on the Rational Design CMS. This has given me a good experience in software architecture, experience that I could not have otherwise gathered in my short career. During my time at AG Insurance, I had the chance to demonstrate and test my skills in a more complex environment. I was, for instance, in charge of analyzing and designing the integration of some aspects of ISIS Papyrus with an existing Mainframe infrastructure. Deployment

With almost a decade of programming behind my back, I can say that I am an experienced developer. At AG Insurance I did some work on Mainframe (with COBOL) and on ISIS Papyrus. Soft skills
Presentation skills: o 1 year of presenting to my clients and potential clients o Multiple presentations at AG Insurance including 4 before the highest Architecture board. Negotiation and assertiveness: o 1 year of negotiations with my clients Being in charge of negotiating and defining security integration in one of the biggest IT Projects at AG Insurance, I successfully led multi-departmental negotiations and proposed viable compromises. Other than that, I participated in many other negotiations to bridge the gap between Business and IT.
