My Dear Students, In continuation of my earlier communication on the subject, we have , as promised, come up with an innovative tool for B Tech,

MCA, MSc (IT/CSE) students passing out in 2012 with the following aims: To provide you an online practice tool which enables real time practice even while you are away on trainings or from your hostel room/home. To align you with the recruitment processes of major recruiters. To ensure that your preparedness peaks at right time. To help you prepare for various benchmarking tests - NACTECH and another at the end of these practice papers so that your scores can be shared with major recruiters. This score would allow you to qualify directly for second round of interviews without having to take written tests again by those companies which endorse this. This series of tests which would have more than 20 tests on aptitude, English Language and your own subject etc are crucial to your success in any recruitment processes. LPU has invested both time and money in bringing this interface to you. Needless to say that these tests are mandatory and will be equivalent to one attendance cycle (2nd attendance cycle as defined in placement policy). All students, whether on trainings or available in campus are required to make serious attempt at all these tests and as per the various timelines indicated in detailed instructions. Any student who fails to take these tests will be debarred from placement process in the next attendance cycle (3rd attendance cycle). It may please be noted that major recruitment activity will be happening in 3rd attendance cycle this year. Moreover you will be losing out as we shall not able to share your benchmarking scores with recruiters. We at LPU will be strictly monitoring your participation and progress. So you are required to be very punctual with respect to timelines. Each test will be open for at least 3 days. You are required to be honest and diligent in taking these tests as these are meant for your benefit only. No extension/exemption will be given in any of these tests. This testing regime is not available to students debarred due to low attendance/absence in mandatory summer term PEP sessions. The attached Excel File ( Lists of Eligible and Debarred Students) has 2 separate work sheets for eligible and debarred students. No correspondence will be entertained at this stage. All eligible students would be shortly getting an Email with the subject 'LPU TEST'. You are required to click on the link therein to register for the test process. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Please also check spam/junk folder as the mail may have landed there. In case your name is in eligible list of students and you have not received this mail latest by 11 am of 1st September, please send SMS to 07355560302 with the content in following manner: <Registration Number> _ <Your Email ID> PLEASE DO NOT MAKE REPEATED SMS OR TELEPHONE CALLS.
