SUPPORT OUR VETERANS. The San Francisco BVL Tournament will be held at Serra Bowl on Saturday or Sunday November 12th & 13th. Squad times: Saturday 10AM & 1:30 PM; Sunday 10:30 AM & 2 PM. YOU MUST check in at least 45 minutes prior to squad time.

Entries close Friday November 4, 2011. No entries will be accepted at the tournament site. (There will be a $12 charge on returned checks). (Entries must be postmarked no later than Nov. 4) The three game SCRATCH winners, in EACH division, will represent San Francisco in the California USBC BVL State Finals. Rules for the San Francisco USBC BVL Handicap Singles Tournament 1. All bowlers must be current members of the San Francisco USBC and USBC at the time they submit their entry 2. Bowler will use highest book average for 21 games or more as of April 15, 2011 (Bowlers with both right and left hand averages must declare one consistent with their league bowling) Any person who has an average in a USBC designated Sports Bowling League must submit his/her adjusted Sport Bowling league average utilizing the USBC Average Adjustment Scale (See USBC Rule 202a for conversion) a. If no April 15, 2011 book average, use highest verifiable 2011 summer average based on 21 or more games as of August 31, 2011. b. If no 2011 summer average use current 15 game average established on or before November 4, 2011 (YOU are responsible for submitting verification with your entry) c. All others excluded 3. Handicap winners will receive award and prize money. The prize fund will be returned 100%. Prize fund for each division will be entirely separate. Prizes will be based on the number of entries in each division. (Minimum ratio 1 out of 10), the handicap will be 90% between the bowlers average and the top of the division entered except in the Classic Division. Classic Division will be handicapped 90% to 220. In case of a tie, a one game roll-off will determine the winner. 4. Tournament will be certified by USBC. USBC Rule 319a2 (10 pin improvement in average) will not apply. Rule 319a3 (accuracy of average) will apply. Rule 319a4 (average corrections) will apply. Rule 319c (average re-rating) will apply. Rule 319d (reporting of prize winnings) will apply. Rule 319e (average rerating based on tournament games) will apply. 5. You may bowl in the finals ONE TIME ONLY. 6. Once you are scheduled to bowl there will be no entry fee refunds.
