Sr. Financial Analyst


Qualified candidates will have experience planning, developing, analyzing and implementing projects.
Duties will include researching accounting issues, preparing SEC filings and using analytical methods to
report to management trends affecting AutoZone operations. In addition, the candidate will assist in the
monthly close process, prepare and review quarterly audit schedules, perform various reconciliations and
compare actual department results verses the budget. A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in
Accounting, Master's degree and CPA a plus. 3 - 5 years related working experience is required. Experience
in Accounting and / or financial analysis required. Candidates must have analytical, problem solving, and
organization skills. Proven skills with Excel and Access a plus. Proficiency in an intermediate level in other
MS Office applications are required. Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with
upper management a must.
Store Development Corporate Controller
Qualified candidates will have experience managing the department financial plan as well as
quarterly revisions. This position is also responsible for analyzing variances to plan and LE and
keeping management informed on all concerns that need to be addressed, planning / LE process
for Finance Department and ad hoc financial analysis as needed. This position ensures integrity
of comp sales numbers for internal and external reporting. Qualified candidates will have a BA in
Finance or Accounting and 4 years of accounting experience at a Controller or Director level.
Must display proven ability to lead and manage, have strong analytical, interpersonal, human
relations and communication skills.

Sr. Marketing Analyst


This position will be responsible for helping company leaders make good business decisions. By
using analysis and a solid understanding of the business goals and marketing programs, they
evaluate programs and plans in order to make recommendations to help guide management.
Additional responsibilities include project management and execution of approved marketing
programs and developing recommendations for new programs. Candidates should also have 3-5
years of experience in problem solving in a retail environment, statistical analysis of sales and
operational data, marketing program analysis and project management. Must have the ability to
write to SQL queries and SAS programs using existing databases. Ability to verify the quality of
their work. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Merchandising Planner
This position will be responsible for the development and execution of the bottom up pre season
and in season merchandise plans at category, sub category and vendor level. It is also
responsible for the financial and merchandising framework for the assortment plan and category
updates in partnership with the Category Managers. In addition, this individual manages the store
planning process in partnership with Supply Chain Analysts and Category Managers. As
appropriate the Planner develops financial plans, unit plans, key item plans and/or store plans as
well as Merchandising Planning process. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in
Business, Management, or similar degree, or equivalent. 2-3 years experience in retail and/or
merchandising, previous planning and/or distribution experience preferred. Strong analytical
skills, financial skills, communication both oral and written, leadership, management, decision
making, training, systemic thinking, creative, organizational skills, and teamwork.

C++ Developer / PROGRAMMER ANALYST IT


This position analyzes designs, codes, test, implements and evaluates computer based information
systems. Researches and formally documents user requirements, develops formal program specifications,
defines and performs unit and system testing, prepares system documentation and implements new or
revised systems. Assists in training user personnel. Analyzes Business problems requiring a technical
solution. Utilizing a programming language, writes 1 or more computer programs to automate a business
process or resolve an identified business problem. Ensures quality of developed software by exhaustively
testing the written programs as a unit test followed by a systems test. A test plan is written to serve as a
check list for all possible data scenarios that this software might encounter in a production environment.
Implements new/revised software into a production run time environment. Produces necessary
documentation, JCL, identifies & communicates scheduling & recovery requirements, monitors initial runs to
ensure success. Recommends and evaluates Computer Based Information Systems Solutions based on
articles read in trade journals, interacting with other development teams and business users, demonstrating
software tools & utilities, etc. A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in Computer Science and two to three years of
experience.
IT Project Manager
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for reestablishing and maintaining strategic and
operational alignment with clients and users of AutoZone IT services. This person has
responsibility for delivering high quality AutoZone IT systems on schedule, according to product
specification, and within project budget. The Project Manager is a single point of contact for
communications and problem escalation and inherently seeks innovative ways to leverage
resources and knowledge to benefit the customer and stakeholders. The IT Project Manager will
successfully: Manage cross-functional project teams; manage initial support for the set up and
structure of the project including defining the scope, forms and reporting; development of
resource plans and assistance in establishing a cross functional team; prepare project budgets
and monitor expenses; build strong internal relationships with IT and business managers;
establish project milestones, coordinate quality reviews and continuously monitor the project's
progress throughout the SDLC, including post implementation audit and team member
evaluations; implement active risk management, issue tracking, project reporting and other
project tracking requirements. A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent combination of
education and project management experience is required. 5-7 years of project management
experience in Business, Engineering, Information Systems or related field of study with proven
ability to deliver results on large-scale projects is required. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of
software related to project management , i.e. Microsoft Project, Open Workbench, Clarity (aka
Niku), Microsoft Visio, etc. is required. PMP certification is preferred
