INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES (To fill in the application form in their own hand-writing) 1. Candidates are required to submit the filled in the application form, which may be downloaded from their email attachment. 2. Candidates may fill in USER ID as mentioned in the email intimation sent to them. 3. The candidates will need to take a print-out of the application format and affix recent passport size photograph which necessarily should be attested by a Class-I/Group-A Gazetted Officer of Central/State Government. 4. SC/ST/OBC candidates will have to send along with their application, a copy of their valid Caste Certificate duly attested by Class I / Group A Gazetted Officer of State / Central Govt. Applications of candidates claiming SC/ST/OBC status will be considered, against the reservation, only if the caste certificate, duly attested is furnished. 5. Those already in employment under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies, should furnish `No Objection Certificate' from their employer or forward their application through proper channel from their employer. However advance copy of the application may be sent with a covering letter from the candidate, in case of any anticipated delay in forwarding the application through proper channel. The application complete in all respects, with all the enclosures namely attested copies of all testimonials, degree certificates, caste certificates etc. should be sent by registered post OR speed post to Programme Director, SAMEER - CENTRE FOR ELECTROMAGNETICS, 2nd Cross Road, CIT Campus, Taramani, Chennai-600113. All the testimonials and certificates should be attested by a Class-I/Group-A Gazetted Officer of Central/State Government. II. INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES (To fill in the Summary sheet given in Excel format ) Candidates are required to fill in the summary sheet given in excel format, which may be downloaded from their email attachment and send the required application details as a soft copy to be mailed to scientistrecruitment@cem.sameer.gov.in The candidates should not alter the prescribed Excel format of the summary sheet. The instructions for entering data in each column of the summary sheet are stated below:Note 1: The User ID has been mentioned in the email now sent to each candidate. The same need to be filled up precisely. Note 2: Candidates should fill in name as in SSC / SSLC certificate. Note 3: The post code is SBL08 for Scientist B (Electronics) and SBM03 for Scientist B (Mechanical). Note 4: Date of birth as per SSC/SSLC certificate may be filled in DD/MM/YYYY format. Note 5: Reservation category may be filled up as applicable SC / ST / OBC. General Merit candidates may fill in UR in this column. Note 6: Aggregate of all semesters / years in BE/B.Tech/5years dual degree / AMIE / Grad IETE or equivalent may be furnished upto 4th decimal XX.YYYY and this aggregate should comply with the para 11b of the application form.
