Should you be elected, what are three specific areas youd like to change, address, improve or further research, and how specifically would you go about it?

__As mayor, I will work to redevelop and enhance our housing stock by stricter code enforcement and creating opportunities for new housing. I will work with city council to craft legislation that would create a cabinet level department of housing. I will adopt a proactive approach to economic development. We will work to solicit business to come to our city regardless of their size. It doesnt matter whether they have 5 jobs or 500 jobs. I will also work to create a business advisory council to get input from existing small businesses on what we can do to insure their success. I will work to improve and stabilize city services. We cannot continue to start and stop services such as recycling. We will be able to stabilize services with long term financial planning. Posting city finances online will help to gain the confidence of residents in our government. ____________________________________________ __________________________________________________________________________________________ Whether for past accomplishments or future goals, why should voters elect you? ___Voters should elect me because I have a proven record of over 30 years in municipal government. That is more experience than all of my opponents combined. In my 21 years at the City of Euclid I introduced technology into virtually every department for greater efficiency. I introduced technology that not only saved the City thousands of dollars but also saved Euclid City Schools thousands of dollars. I established our in-house income tax office that made it easier for residents to file their city tax returns and resulted in millions of dollars in delinquent tax collections. I established our local cable television channels which are still being used to broadcast city council meetings and other important meetings. This channel serves to provide vital information to our residents on what is going on in their government.
