Objective To know the influence of natural selection with the life directness of living things B. Tools and materials 1. Any kind of seeds such as green peal, soya bean, rice and corn ( @20 seeds) 2. 1 piece of newspaper 3. Stopwatch C. Procedure 1. Put newspaper as a layer 2. Spread the seeds randomly over the paper 3. One of member of the group put the seeds one by one in 30 second 4. Use index and middle finger to take the seed, one by one 5. Write the kind and amount of seed which can get in 30 seconds into table 6. Repeat the activity above with other member of the group D. Data Total Amount 11 14 9 16

E. Analysis and Discussion 1. What kind of seed most be taken? Why? Explain your answer! Answer: In our group the seeds most be taken is corn. Because in our reason that shape easily to be taken, not really round and have bright color (orange) which put in the newspaper with dark color (grey) and there was picture have green color in it. 2. What kind of seed least be taken? Why? Explain your answer! Answer: In our group the seeds most be taken is rice seed. Because in our reason that the seed have grey color like newspaper, it is the smallest than the others

seeds, difficult to be taken because small and oval and not perfect shape (crack or broken) 3. We can analog that student who take the seed over newspaper as a predator or bird (consumer seeds) 4. Make conclusion this activity Answer In this activity is to know the influence of natural selection with the life directness of living things. The living thing always gets natural selection or predator. In this practicum we analog as bird or predator we select the seed to consumed. In this activity there are many factors influence natural selection specially consume seed there are Our interest of seeds Environment surrounding seeds (crowded) Shape of seeds easy to be taken Color of seeds contrast to the environment and interested than the others Size of the seeds 5. Relate your experiment with real phenomena in our environment! Answer: In one of our group there is place in her village have mountain stones in thus place a long time ago have many wild bustard but now the stones taken by many people to built building so wild bustard become rare because the stones make them invisible now there no place to hiding them.
