1. PRIMARY PURPOSE (A brief narrative paragraph explaining why the job exists and its overall role) Performs routine, preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance activities and checks on all instrument equipment systems at the pipeline network according to an established programme. Diagnoses faults and carries out repairs. Coordinates activities with other disciplines. Adheres to all required safety procedures. 2. RESPONSIBILITIES

01. Performs preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and shut down maintenance activities on Instrumentation and Control systems installed in the Pipeline network. 02. Troubleshoots, identifies, isolates, repairs instrument component failures, and returns system to normal operation with due regard to minimization of equipment down time. 03. Complies with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures. 04. Removes, dismantles, overhauls/repairs and installs electric, pneumatic, electronic or hydraulic control system such as control valves and actuators, recorders, measuring and recording instruments in the field or in the workshop. 05. Updates the CMMS system with data and information regarding Instrument maintenance activities and reports. 06. Participates and contributes in development and implementation of corrective actions to improve reliability of Instrumentation and control system, in coordination with other departments and personnel. 07. Reviews proposals and specifications for modification and new minor projects and providing recommendations. 08. Performs modification of electrical, instrument and electronic equipments as per the change requests and updates all related drawings to reflect the actual changes. 09. Responds to emergency call outs, identifies and repairs the faulty equipment to ensure equipment is returned to normal service. 10. Improves equipment availability and reliability, taking into consideration the age and obsolescence of current equipment. 11. Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring safe systems of work and safe conditions are in place within area of responsibility.

12. Demonstrates visible commitment to HSE by periodically leading / taking part in risk assessments, audits, HSE meetings, emergency drills, etc. 13. Ensures assigned staff complies with all company HSE policies & procedures and related initiatives. 14. Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by senior management. 3. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

Diploma in relevant Technical field (2 years)

Experience:

4-5 years experience in oil and Gas Company. Experience in the testing and maintenance
methodology. Skills and Competencies: Good analytical, technical, judgemental skills. Good knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage. IT/PC literate Valid UAE driving licence
