Limited Partnerships Minors Contracts Manufacturers liability (pages 80-92 S & OR).

The examination will have 30 minutes reading and noting time, and 3.0 hours writing time [three and a half hours in total]. Please monitor your time management, and use the reading and noting time wisely: this is crucial!

2.1 Examination Hurdle Remember there is an examination hurdle in this Unit that requires you to achieve at least 45/100 in the exam see page 10 of the Unit Guide. The learning outcomes in this unit require students to demonstrate in the individual summative assessment task a comprehensive understanding of the topics covered in the unit. This is demonstrated by the requirement that the student must attain a mark of at least 45% in the final summative assessment task (examination). A student's final mark is normally the sum of the marks obtained in all of the individual assessment items in the unit. Where a student fails the unit solely because of failure to satisfy the hurdle requirement, a mark of 48 will be returned for the unit. Note: Examination papers are not permitted to be removed from the venue after the completion of the examination. The exam is out of 70 marks in total. 3.0 Materials Allowed in the Examination. 1. Electronic Dictionaries without any wireless/Bluetooth/ Blackberry/infrared etc communication. 2. English/Foreign Language Dictionaries e.g; English/Mandarin. 3. Unit Book. 4. Lecture Notes and printed PowerPoint lecture notes. 5. Any written or printed material, including the students own notes, summaries and books. 6. Textbook. Nb: Photocopies of other materials are also permitted provided copyright law is observed. Obviously mobile telephones or any other communication device will not be allowed, so please be careful regarding electronic dictionaries: they should not include an e-mail or wireless/Bluetooth/Blackberry/infrared etc communication function, if so they will be confiscated, and you will be fined, and you will be cited to appear before the Discipline Committee for cheating.
