Citywide Home Loans is a Mortgage Banker (Direct Lender) based in Salt Lake City Utah.!Citywide was created with the goal of becoming an industry leader in the mortgage market. As a mortgage banker or direct lender, it has the ability to lend clients its own money. This gives Citywide the unique ability to act as either a mortgage banker or a mortgage broker. This ability allows us the exibility to offer a wide variety of loan products to satisfy the needs of all borrower types. We are licensed and cleared to operate in CA, CO, AZ, WA, NM, WY, ID and UT. Citywide has FHA Direct Lending authority, FHA Direct Endorsement approval, and Veteran Affairs Automatic Lender approval.

Ken will handle all rate, program and general loan decisions. Once approved, Ken will prepare a final estimate and perform a pre-closing meeting to go over fees, rate and program. !Ken is also responsible for overseeing the entire process to ensure the highest level of customer service. !Ken will also give you verbal updates every Friday.

Zandra will assist with setting up the file, reviewing loan documents, pre-underwriting and submitting the file into processing. She also makes sure that all parties are updated weekly as to the status of the file to ensure a smooth process. Zandra will also update the Closing Cost Worksheet to make sure there are no surprises at closing.

Chris assists the team with all of its marketing efforts. She also assists the team with all during and after close surveys and oversees our Client For Life System. She is also available to assist Zandra and Amy if needed.

Amy is responsible for collecting and reviewing all the loan documentation. She will make sure the file gets submitted into underwriting within the teams established workflow. She works with the underwriters and the clients to make sure the file gets reviewed in a timely manner. She also works with the closing department to make sure closing figures get ordered.

We have 2 closers that work on our team. They are responsible for getting approved figures to the title company by our teams goal of 48 hours prior to closing.

The Ken Caiani Groups Loan Process


Contact Ken and his team. We will gather information needed to pre-qualify. Zandra will create a Closing Cost Worksheet for review. Once the Closing Cost Worksheet is sent, Ken will go over loan structure, rate, fees and timeline. Once approved we get started! Client applies. Zandra will set up the le, pull credit and run the le thru our online system. She will then issue a Pre-Approval!

File is then organized and uploaded into the system to be reviewed and processed by our teams processor Amy. Once all items have been received. Zandra will review the needs list and all documents for accuracy and will Pre-Underwrite the le to head off any issues.

Once we have a PreApproval, Zandra will issue a needs list along with all of the forms that need to be signed.

Amy Senior Processor


Amy sets up the le and orders all of the items needed including appraisal, title work, insurance and verication of income and assets. Once le is complete Amy submits the le into underwriting. This processes take about 72 hours or less.

Once underwriting has had a chance to review the le they will issue a Conditional Approval subject to any conditions.

Once Clear to Close, Zandra will issue a Final Closing Cost Worksheet that is used in Kens PreClose Meeting. File is then submitted for underwriting to review the le for Final Approval. Once Approved the le is Clear to Close!

Our In House Underwriter


Amy is then alerted to follow up on the conditions to be submitted. This can include the Appraisal, Condo forms, Insurance, etc.

Our Closing Team


Once Clear to Close , our closers work up closing instructions, numbers and documents and present them to the title company. Title Company reviews the instructions and provides a nal Settlement Statement for all parties to review and approve.

Zandra updates all parties on the nal gures and sends a copy of the Final Settlement Statement to all parties for review.

The Title Closer


Closing Day! All parties show up at the Title Company to sign the nal real estate and loan paperwork.
