Cooking for Our Priests

Because the rectory no longer employs a cook, Fr. Bill is asking parishioners to help by cooking meals for Frs Bill, Charlie and Philip on Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesday of each week. If you would like to help cook well-balanced, nutritious meals to be dropped at the rectory by 5:00 p.m., please call coordinator Sue Janazzo at 908-464-3896.

RCIA
Our Lady of Peace has had an active RCIA program since 1989. We have helped over 65 people finish or start their journey toward becoming Catholic. Many of these individuals are now active in our Parish and involved in different ministries. WHO ARE WE? WE ARE YOU! Parishioners who have volunteered their time as team members and sponsors. And we could use your help. We are in need of additional team members and sponsors, individuals who would like to help their neighbor in Christ find their way fully into the Catholic Church. Team members would work with the group on a weekly basis from September to April. Sponsors for the catechumens and candidates are asked to walk with the candidates during their journey towards full initiation and a place at the Lords table. Please keep in mind that the commitment need not be on going. Just like when we received First Holy Communion or we Confirmed, ONE time, ONE year. If you are interested or would like to learn more about the RCIA process, please contact a priest at the Rectory or Rosemary Murphy at 908464-6699.

Acts 20:35 "In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"
