Artwork requirements

Size of artwork:A3 Size (420 mm to 297 mm) Coloured hand-drawing with depiction of background (not only car(s), to explain the situation). Use of materials:Any medium (ex. color pencils, crayons, or paint etc.) Digital work is not accepted.

The National Contest


Awards : 1st - 5th places from 3 categories (15 total awards) Award-winners will be eligible to participate in The World Contest. Prize: Regional Certificates and a cash awards of Rs. 5000.00 will be given to each 135 selected candidates for the national contest. National Top five of each category will receive the following cash awards along with a certificate. 1St Place Winner - Rs.50000.00 2nd Place Winner - Rs.35000.00 3rd Place Winner - Rs.25000.00 4th Place Winner - Rs.15000.00 5th Place Winner - Rs.10000.00 Schools Of the winners Schools of the winners will receive following cash awards. 1St Place Winner - Rs.300000.00 2nd Place Winner - Rs.200000.00 3rd Place Winner - Rs.150000.00 4th Place Winner - Rs.100000.00 5th Place Winner - Rs.100000.00

The World Contest


Awards : Gold, Silver, Bronze, Finalist, Special award Prize: Gold, Silver, Bronze, special award winners* - Invitation trip to Japan to award ceremony trip to Japan (scheduled to take place in August 2012). (* Award winners and one parent/legal guardian for each winner)

The National Contest: The winners will be announced on this website in February, 2012.

The World Contest: The winners will be announced on this website in September, 2012.(The winners will be notified by the Secretariat Office of TOYOTA Dream Car Art Contest.)

The goal of TOYOTA Dream Car Art Contest is to create opportunities for children to feel fun and understand the importance of having dreams through drawing a Dream Car using their creative imaginations.

In the 5th TOYOTA Dream Car Art Contest, there were more than 120,000 entries in total from over 50 different countries around the world. Award ceremony was held in Japan. We were delighted at seeing the winning smiles on the participants in accepting the awards. We sincerely hope this experience will feed their future dreams and broaden their world of imagination. We are looking forward to receiving the artwork from future artists in the coming TOYOTA Dream Car Art Contest.

HOW TO ENTER Entries must be received by January 31, 2012 by one of the methods of submission indicated below. (1) By mailing the entry to the following Administration Of ce of Toyota Dream Car Art Contest Secretariat Of ce, Toyota Plaza, No.337, Negombo Road, Wattala.

(2) All the entries can be directly presented to the provincial education offi ce. (All entries presented to the provincial education office will be sent to the secretariat offi ce at Toyota Lanka (Pvt) Ltd

JUDGING Only submissions that meet the above criteria will be eligible for judging in the National Contest beginning February 2012, and for the World Contest beginning April 2012. The top 5 places in each age category in the National Contest (in total 15 winners per National Contest) will be submitted to the World Contest that will take place in April 2012 in Japan. Entries in both the National Contest and the World Contest will be judged by juries and outside experts arranged by TMC and Toyota Lanka Private Limited from the viewpoint of originality and creativity principally. In the World Contest, award winners (gold award, silver award, bronze award) and nalists will be selected out of the entries submitted from the various participating countries, and out of the award winners, special award winner will be selected. However, there will be no relationship between the ranking of winning entries in the National Contest and the ranking of winning entries in the World Contest. All decisions of the juries are final.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS Winners of the National Contest will be announced in February, 2012. Winners of the World Contest are scheduled to be announced in June, 2012. Competition results are scheduled to be announced on Toyota Lanka Private Limited's website http://www.toyota.lk. Winners of the National Contest and the World Contest will be notified separately by Distributor in each country. TMC requires each winner and the winner's parent(s) or legal guardian to sign a declaration of eligibility/availability and a liability/publicity release for the benefit of the winner. If the declaration is not signed, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the runner up. The beneficiary of the prize shall be the winner himself/herself, and not the parent(s) or legal guardian. The involvement of a winner's parent(s) or legal guardian in the contest, including, without limitation, the prize-winning process, does not constitute nor entitle the parent(s) or legal guardian to any rights or claim against Toyota Lanka Private Limited or TMC. In the event that notification of a prize or the prize itself is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the runner up. Prizes may not be transferred or sold to a third party unless otherwise agreed to by Toyota Lanka Private Limited or TMC. Prize winners are unable to claim the cash equivalent of the prize trip from Toyota Lanka Private Limited or TMC in the event they are unable to make the trip for any reason. An applicant will be disqualified and forfeit his/her prize in the event that he/she is found to be in breach of any of the entry rules. Toyota Lanka Private Limited or TMC are unable to accept any inquiries whatsoever concerning the results of the National Contest and the World Contest.
