Specification and General Labour Clauses:Note:- The whole of the works are to be carried out in a manner approved by the S.O. SITE CLEARANCE Before commencing site clearance, the contractor shall as certain the existence and position of water and other services from the relevant authorities and arrange for the diversion or termination of the services. The Contractor shall allow for paving all costs and charges in connection there with. A Allow for taking over the site and clear the area and including encroachment area of all rubbish, debris, top soil, lalang, undergrowth,creepers, shrubs , bushes and cut down and remove existing trees and stumps including grubbing uproots and cart away to an approved dumping ground to be found by the Contractor and was permitted by the local authority. (8.10 Acre) EARTHWORK (ALL PROVISIONAL) Note : The rates for excavation to formation level shall include for excavating below water table level, excavating in whatever soil except rock. The rates shall also include all multiple handling on the site. The measurement of all excavations and subsequent disposals shall be those before excavations. All excavations are measured nett. The increase in bulk after excavation shall be allowed for in the Contractor's rates. The Contractor shall allow for consolidation by roller as directed by the S.O. B Bulk excavation to required formation level and fill in the excavated material to area of filling and compacted to 95% of the maximum dry density as determined using BS1377 Test No.13 and required formation level as described all as shown in the drawings and including the formation of slopes. The rate shall include carring out field density tests as described in the specification or directed by the S.O.
