Ms. Cannistraci Entry Event: Legacy of Ancient Greece project To the students of Ms.

Cannistracis First Year Global Studies: The accomplishments and achievements of Ancient Greece are profound. The Greeks have impacted the world in many ways. Their civilization may have been conquered by Philip II of Macedonia but the legacy of the Greeks lives in many aspects of our society. Many are unaware of the legacy of Greek civilization. Our school is so close to Astoria, a predominantly Greek neighborhood. I need you to create graphic novel or a movie to illustrate to your peers the importance of the Greek legacy. You will be amazed at how the achievements and contributions of the Greeks have impacted your lives and the lives of so many others. You will present your findings to Bryant High School, as well as the world. We will post your graphic novel and movies on the class blog, my face book and twitter page and I urged you to post your work on your preferred social networking site. Thank you for your hard work in advance, Ms. Cannistraci
