Week

April 18 2011 our Iirst day in ojt in Commission On Audit. I am so excited and nervous
in my Iirst day oI ojt. Ready Ior on the job training to gain and learned a new knowledge and
experience. I arrived at 7:26am and Iirst we met is Sir Buddy Florendo who passed the Board
Exam last 2008 and now he is the State Auditor I in COA beIore we met at COA he met him in
RMTU. He introduces himselI to us and other employees. He guided us and he teaches us how to
record the Iiles. 8:30am was the start oI Flag Ceremony including the prayer, singing oI National
Anthem, Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, Panunumpa sa Kawani ng Gobyerno and singing
oI COA Hymn. AIter the Flag Ceremony Atty. Dizon announced starting today every Monday
morning has Flag Ceremony and in Friday aIternoon was Flag Lowering including the Singing oI
National Anthem and singing oI Ang Bayan Ko. First thing I did is recording oI Maintenance
and Other Operating Expense MOOE DepEd Iiles Ior 2010. I`ll Iind that in COA every group
has an Audit Team Leader and our leader is led by Mrs. Elsa P. Paguinto State Auditor IV, she
handled the Audit Team 8 and 11. In Team 8 includes the DPWH, DTI, DAR, LTO, PENRO and
in Team 11 includes the DepEd, PMMA. Atty. Eugenio R. Dizon CPA, -Supervising Auditor
beIore we went to Ma`am Elsa we met Iirst Atty. Dizon and he recommend us to Ma`am Elsa as
an ojt and Iinally MA`am Elsa accept us. We start the day with new chapter oI our lives I am so
thankIul Ior the kindness oI Atty. Dizon without him we are not in COA. It seems so busy and
hard work in COA. I work so hard.

In Monday morning aIter the Flag Ceremony Atty. Dizon announced about COA Week
starting May 2, 2011 and in May all COA employees went to Region in Pampanga. He
announced that every group has presentation the Audit Team Leader, Audit Team Member,
Casual, Job Orders and OJT. In Iirst we didn`t like to prepare a presentation because we are all
shy but aIter days we start to think what we can do to entertain them. Continue to recording Iiles
oI DepEd I observed that iI the contract is unsigned each one oI the indicated names are not
acceptable and need to complete the signature. In April 28 I Iinished the one big box oI MOOE
DepEd Iiles Ior 2010. I`ll Iind that not 5 boxes only to be record but more boxes. Whole oI the
year oI 2010 are need to record. In April 29-Friday I asked one oI the Audit Team Member who
are the Audit Team Leader and Audit Team Member employees. I knew that it has a 3 category
that led by each Audit Team Leader and has an Audit Team Member. The 3 categories are the
Local includes the Municipal, Corporate and National. Our Team is belongs to National. Friday
aIternoon I and my co-trainees are planning to practice our presentation. AIternoon oI Saturday
and aIternoon oI Sunday we our dance number and 2 oI my co-trainee came Irom San Agustin
and Bulawen. During our practice we are so happy and in Sunday we went to Iba in COA to
continue and Iinalize our dance step. Finally, we are ready to present our dance presentation by
Monday.

Today is the Celebration oI 112
th
Anniversary oI COA. First thing we did is to
have a Flag Ceremony aIter that next is the blessings oI the building oI PSAO COA Provincial
Satellite Auditing OIIice in Iba, Zambales. Next is mass held in the 2
nd
Iloor oI PSAO and aIter
the mass we ate our lunch together with all COA employees. 1pm was starting the program Ior
COA week here in PSAO. We have the presentation; we are all excited and nervous because our
dance number is only one day that we practice. During the presentation we give our all best in
terms oI dancing. During and aIter the presentation all COA employees are so happy while
watching us especially Atty. Dizon he didn`t expect that our presentation is good. I am so
thankIul in my CLA co-oIIicers and to CLA dancers because I got an idea to complete our dance
number. AIter all groups presentation Atty. Dizon gives him inspirational messages to us. They
told us that they`re hoping that aIter we graduate and to become CPA, they can help us to work
in COA. I can say that we are so blessed and lucky Ior having in COA almost all oI employees
are CPA. AIter the program we helped to arrange the chairs and we ate our merienda and talked
about the presentation. I am so thankIul because we given a chance to show our talent. Today is
so tired but lot oI Iun and Iull oI happiness. AIter the celebration I continued to record the Iiles.
In May 4, 2011, we went to LTO together with Ma`am Elsa and State Auditor Examiner oI Team
8 which is Ma`am Mirasol Fuentecilla. They check the unused receipts and inventory each plate
number. In May 5, 2011, the celebration oI COA Anniversary in Pampanga all employees went
to Region. I and my co-trainee are continued to work. In Thursday morning together with my co-
trainee we went to DepEd COA OIIice to get some Iiles that we will going to record. In this
week is so memorable Ior me starting last Monday. It has 'Tiangge in COA besides in guard
house. In Friday I continued to record and stamp each Disbursement Voucher oI Post-Audited
including the amount. In 4:30 pm was the time Ior Ilag lowering and aIter the Ilag lowering back
to work.

In Monday morning we will not have a Flag Ceremony because oI heavy rains. Continue
to record the Iiles and stamp with Post-Audited and Iinally I Iinished the COA File oI DepEd
MOOE 2010. I received the Iiles Irom DENR-PENRO and in accounting clerk oI COA. Arrange
the all record book Iiles including the year and the label Ior the recorded Iiles. I start to record
the DepEd MOOE 2011 Iiles in another record book. And stamp the Post-Audited beIore I
record. I also record the other Iiles which is Trust Fund Ior 2010 and 2011.

AIter the Flag Ceremony we go back to work and continued to record the Iiles. In
Tuesday morning Iinally I Iinished to record the DepEd MOOE 2011. AIter lunch I went to
DepEd COAOIIice and arrange the Iiles oI MOOE,PS,Trust Iund and Provident Ior the year oI
2010. List the quantity and total amount oI each Disbursement Voucher that unsigned oI State
Auditor I which is our Supevisor Sir Buddy. AIter we did the work during merienda time Sir
Buddy shared story about his liIe and inspirational experiences about his study and examination.
And he gave advises and in work he gave me a lot oI positive perspective in liIe. List the
quantity and compute the total amount oI PS 2010 and January to March 2011. Stamp the Post-
Audited in PS 2010. May 20-Friday the Celebration oI Bithday and Retirement oI one oI the
Audit Team Leader in COA Mrs. Miguela Dela Cruz. The program start at 10am during the
program each oI the employees gave her message and giIts and each group presents the dance
and sing number. Other Iriends oI Ma`am Ela went to the COA to joined the celebration Ior
Ma`am Ela. Everybody was so happy with tears. AIter lunch, we helped to clean and wash the
dishes. In merienda time Ma;am Ela blow her candles and joined to sing in videoke together with
other employees. I see the happiness oI every one.

Every Monday morning at 8:30am we participate the Flag Ceremony aIter the Ceremony
I continued to record Iiles and I Iinished to record. Our Supervisor attend the Seminar in Region
until Friday thereIore I asked Ior work in another team and I record the General Fund
Municipalities oI Cabangan in worksheet. List the OIIicial Receipt number and compute the total
amount OIIicial Receipt. In Tuesday, morning I record the DepEd PS 2010 Iiles. I went to
DPWH COA OIIice to record the Report oI Checks Issued Ior the month oI November 2010-
December 2010 oI DENR PENRO Iba, Zambales. Compute the total amout oI oI each check
number and the Sphere and Provident Iiles. I stamp the Post-Audited in each Disbursement
Voucher. Check the amount oI each documents Ior Rehabilitation oI Damaged Paved National
Road oI Sta. Cruz, Zambales. Check the Detailed Estimated. BeIore we went to DepEd COA
OIIice. I and my co-trainee will going to arrange all Iiles. First thing we did is arrange all Iiles in
box Irom plastics by the label name, month and year including the Iiles oI MOOE, PS, Payroll,
Provident, Sphere, Trust Fund and SRBMP. For me it is not easy to arrange all this Iiles are
mixed we need to separate the Iiles Irom label name, month and year but I and my co-trainee
helped each other to Iinished. In May 27-Friday the celebration oI Birthday oI Atty. Eugenio R.
Dizon beIore lunch we went to PSAO to joined in the Birthday Celebration. Plenty oI his visitors
are Manager, Engineer and others came Irom diIIerent agencies together with giIts and Ioods.
We helped to prepared and arrange the Ioods. AIter we ate we go back to DepEd and continued
to arrange all Iiles.

May 30-Monday morning our last day to participate in Flag Ceremony in COA aIter the
Ceremony we went to DepEd to continue arrange all Iiles. Finally, we Iinished and all Ilies are
already in label name, by month and by year. By June 01, we clean the DepEd COA OIIice. In
lunch time we ate our lunch together with Sir Buddy and he treat us a Jollibee. In AIternoon, we
recrd the Contract oI Service oI Pre Schools Teachers Ior Post-Audited oI Auditor I. AIter that
we went to PSAO to take a picture with Atty. Dizon.

June 03, in aIternoon we went to DPWH COA OIIice to get our ojt evaluation Iorm. And
I want to shared my experienced and unIorgettable moments that happened in my liIe. This is
unexpected moments. BeIore we get our grades we have a short program led by Ma`am Elsa. She
asked what we learned in experinced Ior ojt in COA. I am Iull oI nervous because during I
answering the questioned I cried so much because I Iel how lucky I am to have a boss like
Ma`am Elsa although she is very strict but she is one oI a kind oI women that very humble and
intellegence. In Iirst im not impress to Ma`am Elsa but in that moments I`ll Iind she is an great
boss. She shared about his liIe beIore she become State Auditor IV. Ma`am thank you Ior sharing
your stories and experince to us and in your advises. AIter the short program we ate our dinner
prepared by Ma`am Elsa and other employees. AIter we ate we will go in Olongapo in Pier 1 and
ma`am Elsa treat us and to have some Iun and Ior our despidida party. Thank you so much
Ma`am Ior the moments you`ve shared to us I will treasured this moments together with our
team.
