MAJOR SPONSOR
PRESIDENTS REPORT 2008 Teralba Bowling Club
Season 2008 has been an important transition period for the club. As Lake
Macquaire Crows, we fielded a 1st grade side in the Black Diamond Cup SUPPORTING PARTNERS
competition for the first time. Our season would not get off the ground without Elgas Limited
the support of our sponsors especially the Teralba Bowling Club. Wangi Workers Club
I would like to congratulate our Senior Coach, John Jannissen for his efforts in Concrush
what was a challenging year, which did stretch our resources and player Club Macquaire
depth. I would also like to thank our 2nd grade coach Mike Sleeth for his
efforts and also Tom croft for his work as U18’s Coach and just missing out in JUNIOR TEAM SPONSORS
playing apart in the finals series. I would also like to thank the Team Under 10’s
Managers, players and Julie Young our fitness trainer for their efforts in 2008. Multivalve Solutions

The Crows Junior Club season was notable, firstly by the switch to a Sunday Under 12’s
competition, for Auskick, U10’s and U12’s with the occasional U14’s also Jackson Haulage
played on Sunday. A big thank you to all the coaches Steve Thurlby, Andrew &
Vennell, JJ and Mick Sleeth. Thank you to all the Junior team managers and a Lake Macquarie
special thank you to the parents. Our junior club increased player numbers for Dermatology
the season, and I was pleased to see a large number of new faces, with a
number of new families joining the club. Under 14’s

I congratulate all the players who received awards at our presentation day and
those players that represented our great club in representative football through Under 16’s
out the year. Our aim is to improve our off field performance, and with that, P & M Adam
increase our player numbers, and player skills, resulting in on field success.
Having said that our mission is to have children and adults engage in sport for SENIOR TEAM SPONSORS
fun and fitness and we should not lose sight of that fact. Under 18’s

I would like to thank the club for the honour of being appointed Life Member.
The club has come a long way over the last 10 years and I think we realise Black Diamond Cup
that the club is still in its infancy, with a number of milestones to achieve. TBA
