KROHNE: the largest and most accurate calibration facility

Accuracy and reproducibility are important parts of a flowmeters quality characteristics. Every instrument leaving the factory is subjected to wet calibration by direct volume comparison. This calibration method is the most accurate one for volumetric flowmeters. The calibration of each meter is certified by an individual calibration certificate.

KROHNE provides a comprehensive range of Ultrasonic flowmeters that provide a measurement solution for virtually any application. The three measuring beams of UFM 3030 generate a 3-dimensional cross-section of the medium's velocity distribution, or flow profile, through the measuring tube. These measuring beams are positioned such that measurement is effectively independent of the flow profile. Major performance improvements have been achieved by applying innovative electronics in combination with Digital Signal Processing (DSP). This results in stable and reliable measurements. The meter is therefore more accurate and less sensitive to changes in the flow profile, solids or entrained air. The UFM 3030 is a universal meter for a very broad range of applications.

OPTIMASS is the high tech family of Coriolis mass flowmeters from KROHNE. The new family of meters overcomes many of the constraints traditionally associated with Coriolis meters and at the same time improves on the measurement accuracy available with this technology. No Limits with materials The OPTIMASS range uses the latest in materials technology to provide meters with Titanium, Stainless Steel and Hastelloy wetted parts. No Limits with flow range The OPTIMASS family has two styles of meter, the 7000 single straight tube (general purpose applications) and the 3000 single Z tube (low flow applications). Flowmeters are available for applications from 0.3 kg/h to 430,000 kg/h (0.66 lb/min to 15,8000 lb/min). No Limits with measured products OPTIMASS is ideal for high viscosity, fluid containing particulate matter, inhomogeneous mixtures and normal entrained air with little effect on the accuracy and quality of measurement.
