Dr Miguel Goncalves, Ph.D Dr. Miguel Goncalves is an internationally-recognised ground-breaking physiotherapist. Currently he is a Senior Physiotherapy at the Lung Function & Ventilation unit, Pulmonary Medicine Department, and the ICU, Emergency Department, University Hospital of S. Joao, Porto, Portugal. Dr. Miguel specialises in NIV, with a PhD in Bio-Medicine. He is also a Senior University Professor of Respiratory Physiotherapy. He has published over 20 articles in peer-reviewed journals and authored chapters in major textbooks. Prof John R Bach, FCCP Professor John Bach is a world renowned expert in the field of non invasive mechanical ventilation for patients with neuromuscular disorders. He is the Professor of Neurosciences and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey. He is also the Medical Director of the Centre for Ventilator Management Alternatives, University Hospital, Neward, New Jersey, USA. He has published over 200 clinical papers in peer reviewed journals and authored numerous chapters.
