†† - In 2000-05, radio slides into a dock in the dash and has a computer-type ribbon cable
at rear of dock. SoundGate DIGISTAR-D also required.
††† - Radio is used to input settings for several vehicle functions, and must be relocated
to retain ability to set these functions.
Note: Additional interfaces may be required if warning chimes are broadcast over vehicle
audio system, vehicle is equipped with OnStar, or has amplified audio system (Bose, etc.)

Features...
The REMPIOGMV2 uses ultra-reliable surface-mount construction and
sophisticated software to flawlessly match a new source unit to the factory
steering wheel audio controls.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE INSTALLATION

The 1/8” mini-plug on the REMPIOGMV2 (Diagram 1) is designed for use
only with Pioneer and Sony source units which have the remote port on the
rear of the radio (see listing above).
If your Pioneer or Sony source unit does not have the wired-remote port on
the rear, use the SoundGate REMOTE3 and interface via infrared.
