INTRODUCTION

Nowadays every people is searching for a place where one can come to enjoy and relax. Each of us wishes to come to a peaceful place where you can have good time and enjoy great meal. A place where bonding with families, friends, as well as lovers become stronger. We cannot denied that Ubay has developed and matured a food industry yet there is still rooms for innovative and new ideas on how to serve and satisfy customers. This study aims to present a different kind of industry specifically a SILOGAN offering silog products to the public especially to the student, professionals, families and people alike. The Fourth year Accountancy students proposed Silogan De Ubay as a study. This certain study project will be located at Bohol. It cannot be denied that most of the residents in Ubay and other neighboring towns love to hang-outs and feel comfortable to eat in different dinning places, so the researchers got and idea in making proposal for Silogan which can fulfill the satisfaction and needs of the clienteles here in Ubay; considering the fact that some of the finest restaurants located in the city and a distant towns. We know that the restaurant is the favorite place of the people to dine in and Street Poblacion, Ubay,

to relax together with their families, friends, as well as lovers; it also offers job opportunities to the jobless in the municipality. Everybody knows that there are lots of existing restaurants in the province only the researchers can assure to the consuming public that this will be one of its kind and a unique Silogan in Ubay.

LEGAL BASIS Silogan establishment pursuant to the provision of the Presidential Decree 856,otherwise known as The Code of Sanitation of the Philippines by which a prescribed sanitation requires for food establishment and refuse collections and disposal system of cities and municipalities.

THE PROBLEM Statement of the Problem The main purpose why the researchers conducted this study is to identify how viable the establishment of Silogan De Ubay in Street, Poblacion,

Ubay,Bohol calendar year 2012 with the end view of proposing a project for implementation. Most specifically, it sought to answer the following problems:

1.Is there a need to establish a Silogan Business in Poblacion, Ubay,Bohol? 2.Is the implementation of the marketing program must be needed to meet this need? 3.Is the proposed location for the Silogan suitable? 4.Is the organization set-up optimally effective? 5.Is the establishment technically feasible? 6.Is the project financing feasible? 7.What would be the capital requirements to establish the business?

SCOPE AND LIMITATION Scope The study covers all aspects on the establishment of Silogan in Poblacion,Ubay,Bohol. This covers market aspects, technical feasibility, management aspects and its organization, financial aspects, socio-economic impact of the business. The risk which involved the collection and analysis of data relevant to the study of the proposed project.

Constraints The researchers met several problems in conducting this study. Financial problem was one of the most difficult problem. We also consider the reluctance

of the respondents to answer the questionnaire as one of the most prevailing problem in the conduct of the study. However, it was overcome through explaining them the importance of the project proposed.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY The researchers expect the project, subject matter of the study: To produce revenue and provide the owner a financially stable business. To every individual who wishes to come to a place where one can relax, have a good time and enjoy a great meal. To the neighboring town of Ubay who want to experience healthy, good tasting and affordable meal. To the visitors who are looking for a warm atmosphere place to dine- in and relaxing hang -outs place. To the business establishments of Ubay who will benefit this study and will cater the needs of the general public. To the Local Government who will aid to promote tourism of the town. The outcome of this study will provide concepts that might be useful and meaningful to the future studies.

Vision-Mission Statement The company aims at satisfying the needs of our consumers. The main concern of Silogan De Ubay is the health of our customers and thereby it strives to serve healthy foods along with good taste and equality that combine performance with value pricing while establishing a successful relationship with our customers and our suppliers. Company Silogan De Ubay is the name of the proposed business, the researchers used this name for the purpose of captivating customers. Founded in March 2012. It is legally formed as Single Proprietorship. The proposed location of the business is at Business The company is at the start-up stage of business, having just opened the facilities. Additional Menus to offer: soup, squid balls, tempura. Drinks: Orange juice, Ice tea, Softdrinks. Services Offered: The customer may take-out his order. They may avail also the products thru deliveries. The Market The researchers define the market as part of the services sector of the food industry in the Philippines. The typical customer is a person who wishes to come into a peaceful place where they can have good time and enjoy great meal with their families, friends, lovers and the people alike. The researchers expect to show them the unique products and services through media promotions and posters and leaflets. A survey was conducted through questionnaire and informal interview to know the present demand of the prospective market. It has been proved that there is an unsatisfied demand for dinning places in the prospective market. Since the study reflects 92% of willingness in patronizing the service. It would be a great assurance that the market would be feasible.

Competition, Risk and Opportunity The researchers compete directly with Local Food Industry. The opportunities before us are significant; the researchers have the opportunity to overcome competition, risk and dominate a niche in the market place if the prices will be lowered, quality of products and good services. Management The proposed business project will operate in the form of Single Proprietorship which will be owned by Attorney Eliseo C. Boyles and will act as a manager to manage the business. The said business is composed of (8) employees with just compensation and benefits. There will be working policies to ensure the cooperation and harmonious relationship between employees to meet the objectives of the business. MANAGEMENT STUDY
MANAGEMENT Management plays a very important role in every business. Through proper Management, the goals and objectives of the organization are very well established and the sets of policies, rules and regulations in an organization are implemented effectively. The business resources are utilized efficiently in carrying out the business functions. This section discuss projects form of ownership, organizational setup, personnel job specification and description, labor requirements, working policies and benefits. THE FORM OF THE BUSINESS ORGANIZATION Single Proprietorship is the form of the business organization and Attorney Eliseo C. Boyles is the proprietor. In this form of business organization there only one owner that would serve as the manager of the business. Since there is only one owner, it is easy and simple to organize and there is one decision maker of the business. The owner will enjoy and shoulder the gains and losses that will be incurred by the business. And the existence of conflict of interest will be lessen.

The business will apply the line and staff type of the organization. In this type of organization, it is easy to maintain discipline and harmony because there is directness and the functions are definite. Because of its flexibility, guide adoption to different situation is very much possible. The manager shall have the full responsibilities in decision making, planning, and managing the business as a whole. The book keeper serve as the retainer of the owner. The cashier will be in charge in all collections and payments of the business and also responsible in giving information to the customers. The cook will be in charge in the preparation of the menus offered. The waitress/waiter will be in charge in serving the orders of the customers. The dishwasher will be in charge in washing the dishes as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the entire Silogan.

Pricing The proposed business will offer products to the customers at a reasonable prices such as, P5.00 for the regular rice,P40.00 for the pakaplog, P42.00 for the daingsilog, dangsilog, hotsilog, longsilog, P45.00 for the tosilog, chosilog, P47.00 for the tapsilog, bacsilog, bangsilog, bisteksilog, chiksilog, cornsilog, litsilog, masilog, SPAMsilog. Additional menus to offer, soup P30.00, squid balls and tempura for P25.00/serving. Drinks, orange juice,ice tea and 8oz softdrinks for P10.00,and softdrinks 12oz for P12.00.

The pricing strategy is based on the survey and to the price offered by the competitors.
